Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard was proposed by the Agricultural Products Quality Safety Supervision
Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of China Green Food Development Centre.

Green Food – Packaged Drinking Water
1 Application Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, inspection rules,
labelling, packaging, transportation and storage of green food packaged drinking water.
This Standard applies to green food packaged drinking water for drinking directly, but
does not apply to natural mineral water for drinking, purified water for drinking and
packaged drinking water containing food additives.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB 19298 apply.
4 Requirements
4.1 Requirements for water sources
4.1.1 When the surface water or ground water from the non-public water supply
system, the water quality shall satisfy the hygienic requirements for domestic drinking
water source of GB 5749.
4.1.2 Hygienic protection of water source. protective measures shall be taken within
the area which is easy to be polluted, in order to prevent any pollution of or external
influence on the chemical, microbiological and physical quality of water source.
