Introduction
This part, part 14 of JR/T 0025, together with part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7, part
12 and part 13, form the debit/credit low-value payment comprehensive
application.
This part mainly defines the content related to the comprehensive application
of the low-value payment, that is, the technical implementation of the low-value
payment comprehensive application and the types of transactions supported.
The unspecified content in this part is in consistent with the standard
debit/credit applications and low-value payment applications, and the relevant
requirements are described in in JR/T 0025.4, JR/T 0025.5, JR/T 0025.6, JR/T
0025.7, JR/T 0025.12, JR/T 0025.13 and JR/T 0025.17.

Part 14. Comprehensive application specification
based on contactless low-value payment application
1 Scope
This part makes relevant requirements and specifications for the
comprehensive applications based on contactless low-value payment
application, which is mainly used for such low-value payment scenarios as
section purchase, offline pre-authorization, and single deduction discount, and
so on.
This part is applicable to the areas, card issuers and merchants that implement
the qPBOC. The objective user is mainly the card design, manufacture,
management, issuance and acceptance, application system research,
development, integration and maintenance, and other departments (units)
related to the application of the financial IC card.
The requirements for quick debit/credit contactless payment application
(qPBOC) are defined in JR/T 0025.12. The requirements for physical
characteristics, RF power and signal interface, initialization, collision detection,
and transmission protocols are defined in JR/T 0025.8 and JR/T 0025.11.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
CAPP records
Records for the comprehensive application specified files, including records
of the comprehensive application cyclic files and comprehensive application
specified files.
3.2
Command
The terminal sends a message to the IC card that initiates an operation or
requests a response.
3.3
Comprehensive application specified file
Comprehensive application specified file is used to store specific industry
application information, usually a variable length record structure file.
3.4
Comprehensive application cyclic file
Comprehensive application cyclic files are stored as data records for some
log types, which are cyclic record structure files. The UPDATE CAPP DATA
CACHE command updates only the first record for each transaction.
3.5
Cryptogram
The result of password encryption operation.
3.6
Deposit deduction
The deposit deduction refers to the issuer can give the cardholder a certain
amount of the deposit, which is not included in the actual amount of
electronic cash, but when the card electronic cash balance of the
cardholder is insufficient and less than the deposit amount, the cardholder
can choose to use a deposit to complete the transaction.
3.7
Electronic cash (EC)
The low-value payment function achieved based on the debit/credit
application.
3.8
Electronic cash balance
A counter that represents the amount that can be consumed offline on the
card.
3.9
Electronic cash funds limit
The maximum amount a cardholder can spend on offline purchases.
3.10
Identify number
Used to distinguish the applications of same industry in different regions.
3.11
Load
The process of increasing the electronic cash balance in the card. There
are a variety of ways to realize load, including drawing money from the
master account, making cash deposit, or otherwise transferring amount
from other account, BUT the electronic cash balance after load shall not
exceed the electronic cash funds limit.
