This Standard replaced JB/T 9018-1999 High-Bay Warehouse – Design Rules; compared with JB/T 9018-1999, this Standard has the major technical changes as follows. --- Modify the standard name from “High-Bay Warehouse – Design Rules” to “Automated Storage and Retrieval System – Design Rules”; --- Modify the codes of row-direction and bay-direction in the “Terms” (3.9, 3.11 of this Edition; 3.8, 3.9 of 1999 Edition), and re-define them; --- Modify the length and width dimension of unit-goods (4.2 of this Edition; 4.2 of 1999 Edition); --- Modify the appearance dimension deviation of the unit-goods (4.3 of this Edition; 4.3 of 1999 Edition); --- Expand the parameter range and increase the specifications for the lifting speed, operating speed of stacker crane, the telescopic speed of goods fork (Table 5 of this Edition; Table 5 of 1999 Edition); --- Modify the requirements for the basic design of the warehouse (7.1 of this Edition; 7.2 of 1999 Edition); --- Revise the minimum distance between the outermost side on the horizontally- operating terminal of the storage/retrieval machine; cancel the provisions of 1800mm below parts (8.1 of this Edition; 9.1 of 1999 Edition); --- Combine the requirements for “safety protection device” into one sub-clause (6.6 of this Edition; 8.1~8.8 of 1999 Edition); --- Add “6.7 operating environment requirements for storage/retrieval machine”. This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee for Standardization of Machinery Industry Logistics Storage Equipment (CMIF/TC 10). Drafting organizations of this Standard. Beijing Materials Handling Research Institute. Chief drafting staffs of this Standard. Xu Qingcai, Chen Dixin, Zhang Chunpeng. The historical edition replaced by this Standard is as follows. Automated Storage and Retrieval System – Design Rules 1 Scope This Standard specifies the basic design requirements for the automated storage and retrieval system (hereinafter referred to as storage and retrieval system) unit-goods, rack, aisle stacking crane (hereinafter referred to as storage/retrieval machine), warehouse building, cell and ability into and out of the warehouse. This Standard is applicable to the automated storage and retrieval system with the ability of storing (taking) unit-goods, consisted of steel structure rack, storage/retrieval machine and handling equipment. 2 Normative References The following documents are essential to the application of this document. Single operation cycle indicates the whole process that the storage/retrieval machine finishes the single storing (or taking) goods from the original position. The compound operation cycle indicates the whole process that the storage/retrieval machine finishes the goods storing and taking from the original position then return to the original position. 3.16 Operation cycle time The time required by the storage/retrieval machine for one operation cycle (in the warehouse with lane-switching device, it shall also contain the time for the land- switching of the storage/retrieval machine). 3.17 Original position The position of the storage/retrieval machine before entering or exiting the warehouse. 6.5.2.3 The operating panel must be equipped with the button that can cut off and control the main power under the emergency situations. The button shall adopt the red mushroom shape, and installed in the right front of the operator. 6.6 Safety protection device The safety protection device of the storage/retrieval machine shall conform to the provisions of JB/T 11269. 6.7 Running environment requirements of storage/retrieval machine 6.7.1 The periphery of the storage/retrieval machine and the periphery of the relevant entry/exit warehouse conveyor shall be set 1.8m-high fence, the fence can’t be opened without permission. 6.7.2 When the storage/retrieval machine is operating, the protection device must be set to prevent the working personnel to cross the lane; and set the warning sign for no crossing the lane. 6.7.3 The operation terminal of the storage/retrieval machine shall be set the safety channel for escaping. 7 Warehouse Building 7.1 The basic design of warehouse shall take into account of the geological conditions, working load and other factors; strictly control the non-uniform settlement and deformation of the track basic bearing panel (or bearing beam) of storage/retrieval machine and rack. Under the maximum working load, the local deformation and slope tan a of the basic bearing panel (or bearing beam) shall be no greater than ... ......
