Foreword
JB/T 6758 Continuously Transposed Conductor are totally divided into the following 4
parts.
--- Part 1. General Requirements;
--- Part 2. Paper-Insulated Continuously Transposed Conductors of Polyvinyl Acetal
Enamelled Copper Wires;
--- Part 3. Less Paper Insulated Netting-Typed Continuously Transposed
Conductors of Polyvinyl Acetal Enamelled Copper Wires;
--- Part 4. Heat Resistant Continuously Transposed Conductors of Enamelled
Copper Wires.
This Part belongs to Part 2 of JB/T 6758.
This Part replaced JB/T 6758-1993 Paper-Insulated Continuously Transposed
Conductor of Enamelled Copper Wires.
Compared with JB/T 6758-1993, this part has the major changes as follows.
--- Increase the continuously transposed conductor with self-adhesive property or
semi-hard copper conductor characteristics on the basis of the original product;
--- Supplement partial terminology, code and symbol as per the new product
requirements; which simplify the product model and presentation.
--- Expand the scope of specification; adjust the shape and size factors.
--- Expand the type specifications of insulating paper and other insulating materials.
--- Increase the bond strength of self-adhesive enameled rectangular wire; specify
the non-proportional elongation strength Rp0.2 property requirements.
This Part was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.
This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee for
Standardization of Wire and Cable (SAC/TC 213).

Conductors of Polyvinyl Acetal Enamelled Copper Wires
1 Scope
This Part of JB/T 6758 specifies the general requirements for paper-insulated
continuous transposed conductors of polyvinyl acetal enamelled copper wires. The
enamelled rectangular wire can be Grade-120 polyvinyl acetal enamelled rectangular
copper wire, or self-adhesive polyvinyl acetal enamelled rectangular copper wire
coated with thermosetting epoxy resin on its outside; the copper conductor can be
either conventional soft copper wire, or semi-hard copper wire. This Part shall be used
in conjunction with JB/T 6758.1.
The paper-insulated continuous transposed conductors of polyvinyl acetal enamelled
copper wires are applicable to the winding coils for oil-immersed type transformers or
electrical appliances.
