JB/T 6758 “Continuously transposed conductors” is divided into four parts.
- Part 1. General requirements;
- Part 2. Paper-insulated continuously transposed conductors of polyvinyl
acetal enameled copper wires;
- Part 3. Less paper insulated netting-typed continuously transposed
conductors of polyvinyl acetal enameled copper wires;
- Part 4. Heat resistant continuously transposed conductors of enameled
copper wires
This part is part 1 of JB/T 6758.
Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C of this part are informative.
This part was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation.
This part shall be under the jurisdiction of National Wire and Cable
Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC213).

Continuously transposed conductors
- Part 1. General requirements
1 Scope
This part of JB/T 6758 specifies the type, product variety structure, technical
requirements, acceptance rules and packaging marking of the continuously
transposed conductors.
This part shall be used in conjunction with the subsequent product standard
parts of JB/T 6758.
The continuously transposed conductor is applicable to the electrical windings
of a variety of oil-immersed, dry-type transformers, and reactors, etc.
2 Normative references
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this part
through reference in this part of JB/T 6758. For the dated references, the
subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to
this part; however, parties who reach an agreement based on this part are
encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable.

representations
3.1 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1.1
Continuously transposed conductor
It refers to the winding conductors formed by two rows of a certain number
of enameled copper (aluminum) flat wires mutually contacted at wide
surfaces, transposed in same direction along the narrow surface of the top
and below of the two rows of enameled flat wires, and lapped continuously
by electrical insulated paper, rope or belt.
3.1.2
Transposition pitch
It refers to the axial length of a certain enameled flat wire in the continuously
transposed conductor after subjected to a complete transposition cycle
divided by the number of enameled flat wires of the continuously transposed
conductor, that is, the axial length between two adjacent transpositions.
3.1.3

Grid shape rope bundled self-adhesive acetal enameled continuously
transposed semi-hard conductor. HWNC1, HWNC2 or HWNC3
