modified “Principle” to “General”;
modified the types of multifibre from “SW, SV” to “DW, TV”;
- added acetate fiber and triacetate fiber as woven strips of multifibre adjacent fabric;
- deleted silk fiber as woven strip of multifibre adjacent fabric;
-added gloss level requirements for various fibers; modified linear density requirements for cotton, polyacrylonitrile and wool as well as length requirements for cotton, polyamide, wool and viscose;
modified linear density and twist requirements for various yarns;
added whiteness requirements for each woven strip;
modified width and fabric density of multifibre adjacent fabrics; added structure form;
modified staining performance index of adjacent fabrics in Annex A from “the staining of the base adjacent fabric and the adjacent fabric to be tested, the difference in the number of stages is not more than half level (including half)” to “when the color difference is not lower than level 4~5, the staining performance of the adjacent fabric to be tested is acceptable”; added that using instrumental rating method to evaluate stained adjacent fabric and base adjacent fabric after staining;
- modified the dye types and reference concentration in Annex A. Annex A of this Part is normative. This Part was proposed by China Textile Industry Association. This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee on Base of National
Technical Committee on Textiles of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 209/SC 1).
Standard adjacent fabrics - Part 7. Multifibre
1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 7568 specifies the general requirements for the evaluation of stained undyed multifibre adjacent fabrics in textile color fastness tests. Multifibre adjacent fabrics have standardized staining properties.

Quality control method for consistency of staining of adjacent fabrics in different production batches
A.1 Scope
This appendix specifies the quality control method for the consistency of the staining of adjacent fabrics of different production batches.
A.2 Principle
Perform contrast stain test on the base adjacent fabric and the adjacent fabric to be tested. Then compare the staining of each adjacent fabric with the instrument rating method specified in GB/T 250 for assessing the discoloration of the sample using the gray sample card or FZ/T 01024.
A.3 Instruments and reagents
A.3.1 Instruments and reagents, in accordance with B (2) of GB/T 3921-2008.
A.3.2 Undyed base adjacent fabric and undyed testing adjacent fabric samples, each piece of 40mm × 100mm.
A.3.3 For polyamide fiber, wool and silk fiber staining. Irgalan Orange RL-KWL 250% (C.I. Acid Orange 86).
For cotton and viscose staining. Solophenyl Blue GL 250% (C.I. Direct Blue 71). For acetate, triacetate, polyamide and polyester stains. Terasil Yellow 2GE 200%
(C.I. Disperse Yellow 54).
For polyester fiber, acetate fiber, triacetate fiber and polyamide fiber stain. Terasil Navy Blue BGLN 200% (C.I. Disperse Blue 130).
A.4 Procedures
A.4.1 Put the undyed base adjacent fabric and the undyed adjacent fabric sample (A.3.2) into different containers. Add a certain amount of soap (A.3.1) and appropriate dye solution to each container (Clause A.7).
A.4.2 Each sample is treated at 50°C ± 2°C for 45 min.
A.4.3 Take the samples separately and place in a beaker with a capacity of 4 L and a half volume of tertiary water (A.3.1). Gently stir for 1 min. Rinse the A.4.4 The staining of the base adjacent fabric shall be assessed by the instrument rating method of assessing the staining of the smear fabric with the gray sample card specified in GB/T 251 or FZ/T 01023 (A.3.1). Its staining is controlled at Level 3~4.
A.4.5 The staining method of the base adjacent fabric and the adjacent fabric to be tested is compared with the instrument rating method specified in GB/T 250 for assessing the discoloration of the sample using the gray sample card or FZ/T 01024 (A.3.1).
A.5 Evaluation results
Evaluate the stained adjacent fabric and the base adjacent fabric after staining using the gray sample card specified in GB/T 250 or the instrument rating method of the discoloration degree of the sample specified by FZ/T 01024. When the color difference is not lower than Level 4~5, the staining performance of the adjacent fabric to be tested is acceptable.
A.6 Test report
Report on the number of color-grading levels of the adjacent fabric to be tested and the base adjacent fabric (Clause A.5).
A.7 Note
The amount of dye used shall make the stain of the base adjacent fabric reach level 3~4. At the same time, it is guaranteed that the dye remains in the test solution after the test is over. Dye reference concentrations are as follows.
Irgalan Orange RL-KWL (250%) (C.I. Acid Orange 86). 0.011 g/L
Solophenyl Blue G (250%) (C.I. Direct Blue 71). 0.000155 g/L
Terasil Yellow 2GE (200%) (C.I. Disperse Yellow 54). 0.00049 g/L
Terasil Navy Blue BGLN (200%) (C.I. Disperse Blue 130). 0.024 g/L
The test for each dye shall be carried out separately.
