This Standard is not equivalent to ISO 2575 or JEVS Z 804. This Standard is the supplement to GB 4094 Motor vehicles - Symbols for controls, indicators and tell-tales. Electric vehicle is part of automobile; it shall meet the requirements of GB 4094. This Standard provides symbols for controls, indicators and tell-tales. This Standard is a recommended national standard. This Standard is applicable to symbols for controls, indicators and tell-tales of electric vehicle. This Standard was proposed by NDRC (National Development and Reform Committee). Electric vehicles – Symbols for controls, indicators and tell-tales 1  Scope  This standard specifies the basic requirements, which are unique for electric vehicles (the definition is shown in GB/T 19596-2004), about the symbols for controls, indicators and tell-tales, and colors for tell-tales. This Standard is applicable to electric vehicles. 2  Normative References  The articles contained in the following documents have become part this Standard when they are quoted herein. For the dated documents so quoted, all the modifications (excluding corrections) or revisions made thereafter shall not be applicable to this Standard. For the undated documents so quoted, the latest editions shall be applicable to this Standard. GB 4094 Motor vehicles - Symbols for controls, indicators and tell-tales GB/T 4782 Road vehicles - Controls, indicators and tell-tales - Vocabulary GB/T 19596-2004 Terminology of electric vehicles 3  Terms and Definitions  For the purpose of GB/T 4782 and GB/T 19596, the following terms and definitions of this Standard shall apply. 4  Requirements  4.1 The shape of symbols and display color of tell-tales, that are only used for controls, indicator and tell-tales of electric vehicles, shall comply with the provisions of this Standard. 4.2 Other requirements of symbols shall comply with the provisions of GB 4094. 5  Categories of Symbols and Display Color of Tell‐tales  Categories of symbols and display color of tell-tales indicator are shown in Table 1. ......
