Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 2588:2014,
“Leather - Sampling - Number of items for a gross sample”.
The technical differences between this Standard and ISO 2588:2014 and the
reasons are as follows:
-- Modify the scope of the standard to conform to industry language habits
and avoid repetition and ambiguity (see Chapter 1);
-- Delete "2 Normative references"; the subsequent chapters and articles are
arranged forward in proper order; there is no specific reference content;
the deletion does not affect the understanding and use of the standard;
-- Modify the terms and definitions of "batch" to conform to industry habits
and for convenience of use (see 2.1);
-- Modify "Table 1 -- Minimum number of items" to clarify the number of items
when the batch size is 1, which is convenient for operation (see Table 1);
-- Adjust the contents of the sampling report, to conform to our country's
custom (see Chapter 4).
For convenience of use, this Standard makes the following editorial changes:
-- Delete the explanatory note in "Scope".
This Standard was proposed by China National Light Industry Council.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee
