This Standard replaces GB/T 3903.30-2008 Footwear – Test Method for Outsoles, Insoles, Linings and Insocks – Water Soluble Content(ISO 20869.2001). Compared with GB/T 3903.30-2008, this Standard mainly has the following changes. --- Delete the description of “this part is applicable to various footwears outsoles, insoles, linings and insocks” in the scope of the standard; --- In 4.11, oven’s controlled temperature is changed from (102±10) °C into (102±2) °C; --- Separate “distilled water and sulfuric acid” from Chapter 4 Apparatus and Materials, and form Chapter 5 “Reagents”. Change heat retention definition into thermal insulation definition. This Standard’s translation equivalently adopts ISO 20869.2010 Footwear – Test Method for Outsoles, Insoles, Linings and Insocks – Water Soluble Content (English Edition).
