1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements and evaluations
of intelligent air conditioner products.
This standard applies to intelligent air conditioners.
2 Normative references
The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For
the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable
to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including
all the amendments) are applicable to this standard.

household appliances
GB/T 33658-2017 Thermal comfort requirements and evaluation for indoor
environment
3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 28219-2018 and the following terms
and definition apply to this document.
3.1
Intelligent room air conditioner
The air conditioner which adopts intelligent technology, has the ability to
sense, make decisions, execute, learn, and feedback (including the ability to
apply learning results); comprehensively utilizes these capabilities to
achieve specific functions.
3.2
Intelligent air conditioner’s information display and information input
equipment or facilities, including but not limited to the display interface of the
air conditioner itself, mobile phone app, TV, computer.
4 Requirements
4.1 Overview
Chapter 4 of GB/T 28219-2018 is applicable except for the following.
4.2 Interconnection / interoperability requirements
4.2.1 Intelligent air conditioners can be connected to the industry public service
platform; it can be operated by the interactive terminals of other intelligent home
appliance manufacturers; it can interact with other intelligent home appliances
and intelligent home products. The functions of the intelligent air conditioner
that can be operated by other interactive terminals shall include at least the
following 4 items:
- Switch on and off;
- Temperature adjustment;
- Mode adjustment;
- Air speed adjustment.
4.2.2 Intelligent air conditioner directly performs data interaction with the
industry public service platform. Intelligent air conditioner uses the industry
public service platform and the vendor service platform to perform cross-
platform data interaction. Intelligent air conditioner uses the vendor service
platform and the industry public service platform to perform cross-platform data
interaction. Data interaction shall include at least the following 6 items:
- Indoor ambient temperature;
- Air conditioner’s setting temperature;
- Air conditioner’s ON/OFF status;
- Air conditioner’s operating mode;
- Air conditioner’s operating wind speed;
- Air conditioner’s fault information.
4.3 Intelligent capability requirements

conditioners include, but are not limited to:
- Start or stop operation at the right time according to the operating strategy;
- Operating at corresponding mode;
- Adjust the room temperature to the required temperature;
- Achieve the required air supply direction and volume;
- Adjust the compressor’s operating frequency;
- Adjust the humidity in the room to the required humidity;
- Adjust the air quality in the room except for temperature and humidity to a
good condition;
- Adaptively adjust display brightness.
Note: The actions performed by the air conditioner after the user manually
controls the air conditioner by a single instruction are not considered as the
execution ability of the intelligent air conditioner.
4.3.5 Learning ability
The intelligent air conditioner can continuously collect and sort the air
conditioning process and air environment data in a certain period during the
work process; it can accumulate a certain amount of data about the user's
habits of using the air conditioner, the air environment data, the air conditioner's
self-operating data, other third-party data; analyze the accumulated data to
form a variety of air-conditioning operating strategies.
Note 1: The intelligent learning ability of intelligent air conditioners can be realized
through the cloud or locally.
Note 2: Intelligent learning can be through autonomous learning or human assistant
learning.
4.3.6 Feedback ability
The intelligent air conditioner can present the operating status of the air
conditioner and the perceived environmental information to the interactive end
through a human-computer interaction. The information fed back by the air
conditioner can be actively pushed to the interactive terminal or can be queried
through the interactive terminal. The information fed back by the air conditioner
can be fed back to the interactive terminal. The information fed back by the air
conditioner includes, but is not limited to, the setting temperature of the air
2018, it is 100 points; otherwise it is 0 point; recorded as α;
b) If meeting the clause 4.1.2 network and security requirements in GB/T
28219-2018, it is 100 points; otherwise it is 0 point; recorded as b;
c) If meeting the clause 4.1.3 electromagnetic compatibility requirements in
GB/T 28219-2018, it is 100 points; otherwise it is 0 point; recorded as c.
The full score is 100 points. The actual result = α × 40% + b × 30% + c × 30%.
5.2 Evaluation of interconnection / interoperability
The interconnection / interoperability evaluation is divided into the following
items:
a) Intelligent air conditioner’s data can interact with public service platforms
and the data items that meet the requirements of 4.2 are 100 points;
intelligent air conditioners can interact with other devices through specific
communication means and the data items that meet the requirements of
4.2 are 60 points; otherwise it is 0 point, recorded as α;
b) If it meets the 4.2.2 compliance requirements of GB/T 28219-2018, it is
100 points; otherwise it is 0 point; recorded as b;
c) If it meets the 4.2.3 convenience requirements of GB/T 28219-2018, it is
100 points; otherwise it is 0 point; recorded as c.
The full score is 100 points. The actual result = α × 40% + b × 30% + c × 30%.
5.3 Evaluation of intelligent capabilities
5.3.1 Perception ability
If it is able to perceive 3 of the 4 items as specified in 4.3.2 and more than 10
different categories of information, it is 100 points. If it is able to perceive 3 of
the 4 items as specified in 4.3.2 and 7 ~ 10 different categories of information,
it is 80 points. If it is able to perceive 2 of the 4 items as specified in 4.3.2 and
6 ~ 8 different categories of information, it is 60 points. If the perceived
information is less than 2 items and less than 5 categories, it is 0 point; recorded
as α.
The full score is 100 points. The actual result = α.
5.3.2 Learning ability
The learning ability is divided into the following items:
a) The self-learning is 100 points; the human assistant learning is 60 points;
no learning ability is 0 point, recorded as α;
The full score is 100 points. The actual result = α × 60% + b × 40%.
5.3.5 Feedback ability
The feedback ability is divided into the following items:
a) If it can actively feedback 10 or more information items listed in 4.3.6, it is
100 points; if it can actively feedback 5 ~ 9 information items listed in 4.3.6,
it is 80 points; if it can actively feedback 6 and above information items
listed in 4.3.6, it is 60 points; if it can only feedback less than 6 information
items as listed in 4.3.6 through query, it is 0 point, recorded as α;
b) If it can make feedback both from local and from customer end, it is 100
points; if it can only make feedback from the local or customer end, it is
80 points; if there is no feedback from local or customer end, it is 0 point,
recorded as b.
The full score is 100 points. The actual result = α × 60% + b × 40%.
5.4 Effect evaluation of intelligent functions
5.4.1 Human comfort
According to GB/T 33658-2017, if it is rated 5 stars, it is 100 points; if it is rated
4 stars or 3 stars, it is 80 points; if it is rated 2 stars or 1 star, it is 60 points; if it
does not meet the 1 star requirement, it is 0 point, recorded as α.
The full score is calculated as 100 points. The actual result = α.
5.4.2 Use convenience
The use convenience is divided into the following items:
a) If the intelligent air conditioner can be controlled according to the two or
more methods mentioned in 4.4.2, it is 100 points; if the intelligent air
conditioner can only be controlled according to one of the methods in 4.4.2,
it is 80 points; otherwise it is 0 point, recorded as α;
b) The intelligent air conditioner has a variety of intelligent functions to reduce
human intervention (100%); the intelligent air conditioner has an intelligent
function to reduce human intervention (80%). If it only has key and remote
control method, it is 0 point, recorded as b.
The full score is calculated as 100 points. The actual result = α × 50% + b ×
50%.
5.4.3 Energy saving of use
The energy saving of use is divided into the following items:
