1 Scope
This part of GB/T 37751 applies to RCD with flat quick-connect tip, which has a nominal width of 6.3 mm and thickness.
0.8mm plug-in connector (see 3.2) and its associated plug connector for connecting the electrical copper guide according to the manufacturer's instructions
Line, rated current is less than or equal to 16A.
This part cannot be used alone. It must be used together with the RCD product standard (IEC 61008-1 or IEC 61009-1) for flat quick connection.
Connect the end of the RCD.
The connectable electrical copper wire is a flexible wire with a cross-sectional area of 4 mm 2 or less, or a hard wire with a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm 2 or less (AWG
The wire gauge is equal to or greater than 12).
This section specifically applies to the RCD of the plug-in tab as an integral part.

8 Structural and operational requirements
8.1 General requirements
Chapter 8 of the RCD Product Standards applies and is modified as follows.
8.1.3 applies when the socket connector is connected to the plug-in piece of the RCD.
8.1.5 does not apply.
In addition, the following requirements apply.
8.2 Terminals for connecting external conductors
8.2.1 Plug-in tabs and socket connectors shall be of a metal with sufficient mechanical strength, electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance for their intended use.
production.
Note. For example, silver-plated or tin-plated copper alloys are a more suitable solution.
8.2.2 The plug-in connecting piece has a nominal width of 6.3 mm and a thickness of 0.8 mm, and is suitable for rated currents of 16 A and below.
The size of the plug-in connection piece shall conform to the dimensions specified in Table 2 and Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4, where A, B, C, D, E, F, J,
The dimensions of M, N and Q are the dimensions that should be met.
The dimensions of the socket connector for the plug-in tab are shown in Figure 5 and Table 3.
As long as the specified dimensions are not affected and the test requirements are met, the shape of each component is allowed to differ from the shape shown (for example, corrugated
Plug-in tabs, fold-in plug-in tabs, etc.).
Verify compliance by visual inspection and measurement.
8.2.3 Plug-in tabs should be securely held.
Verify that the requirements are met by the mechanical overload test in 9.2.

Note 1. Size A~Q Refer to Figure 1~4.
Note 2. When there are two values in the same column, the maximum size and the minimum size are given.
If the 45° bevel A is within the range shown, it does not have to be a straight line.
The size L is not specified, and the size may vary depending on the use case (for example, depending on the case of fixation).
The size C of the plug-in tab may consist of more than one layer of material as long as the resulting plug-in tab meets the requirements of this section in all respects. Allow insertion
The longitudinal edges of the inlet tabs are rounded.
Outside the range of Q or outside the range of (B 1.14) mm (0.043 in), the thickness C of the plug-in tab can be varied.
Each part of the plug-in connection piece shall be smooth and burr-free, but in the area around the positioning buckle of 1.3mm (0.051in) from the positioning buckle, there may be one on each side.
It is raised above the standard thickness of 0.025mm (0.001in).
Note. This figure is not used to constrain the design except for the dimensions shown.
Figure 1 Size of the plug-in tab
The locating buckle should be located within 0.076 mm (0.003 in) of the center line of the plug-in tab.
Figure 2 Dimensions of the circular dent positioning buckle (see Figure 1)
The locating buckle should be located within the centerline of the plug-in tab 0.13mm (0.005in).
Figure 3 Dimensions of the rectangular indentation locating buckle (see Figure 1)
The locating buckle should be located within 0.076 mm (0.003 in) of the center line of the plug-in tab.
Figure 4 The size of the hole-shaped positioning buckle
Sizes B3 and L2 are the dimensions that should be met.
In order to avoid mutual interference between the wires and the fully inserted plug-in tabs, the socket connector should be designed to see that the wires are over-inserted into the crimping area, or can be used
The stop prevents the wire from being inserted into the crimp area.
Note 1. If the size of the socket connector is different from that of B3 and L2, when determining the size of the socket connector, it needs to match the size of the plug-in connecting piece to ensure that
Under the most unfavorable conditions, the plug-in connection piece and the socket connector can be properly inserted (if there is a positioning buckle, it is also ensured that the positioning buckle can be correctly locked).
Note 2. If there is a positioning buckle, the size X is determined by the manufacturer to meet the performance requirements.
Note 3. This figure is not used for constrained design except for the relevant dimensions shown.

Damage to the plug-in tab or the RCD integral with the plug-in tab should not affect its continued use.
Add the following requirements after 9.8.3 of the RCD product standard.
Thin wire thermocouples should be placed so that they do not affect the contact area or the connection area. An example of the placement method is shown in Figure 6.
