1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for Internet content accessibility. This standard applies to the development and testing of Internet web pages (including mobile web pages) and mobile application products.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 2.1 Webpage A plain text file containing a Hypertext Markup Language tag. Note. A web page is an essential element of a website. 2.2 Mobile app mobileapplication Application software running on mobile devices. 2.3 Assistive technology Hardware or software that acts as a user agent or works with mainstream user agents. Note. Provides the ability to meet the needs of people with different body functions, which often exceed the functional requirements provided by mainstream user agents. 2.4 User agent useragent Any software that retrieves and renders web content for users. 2.5 Accessibility accessibility Internet content is perceptible to specific users (including disabled, elderly, and other users), and the interface group in the content The pieces are operational, the content and control definitions are understandable, and the content should be well compatible. 2.6 Non-text content non-textcontent The content of any non-character sequence.
