This standard applies to die casting units, for high-pressure casting. 2 Terms and definitions 2.1 Functional device 2.1.1 Basic terminology 2.1.1.1 Die casting The process, in which molten metal is press-injected into the mold AND kept under high pressure, until it is completely solidified. 2.1.1.2 Die casting machine A power machine, that press-injects molten metal into a reusable mold, at high pressure and high speed. 2.1.1.3 Ancillary equipment Functional equipment which supports the die-casting production. Note: Ancillary equipment includes: pouring device, picking and conveying device, spraying device, die temperature control device, cleaning and rectification device, insert device, detection device, system security device, integrated control device, casting cooling device, vacuum device, etc. 2.1.1.4 Die casting unit 2.1.2 Thermal insulation and pouring device 2.1.2.1 Holding furnace A device, which is used to store molten metal AND maintain a preset temperature. 2.1.2.2 Dosing furnace A device, which is used to store molten metal AND has heat preservation, quantitative, pouring function. 2.1.2.3 Dosing and delivering material device; auto ladler A device, that quantitatively takes molten metal from the holding furnace AND transports it to the injection chamber. 2.1.3 Extractor and conveyor device 2.1.3.1 Extractor device; casting extractor A machine, that grabs the die casting from the mold AND transports it to the designated location, before releasing it. 2.1.3.2 Pick-up fixture A device, which is installed at the end of the manipulator, to grab die castings. 2.1.3.3 Conveyor A device, that transports die castings to a designated location. 2.1.4 Spraying device 2.1.4.1 Spray system dangerous machine functions from operating, under certain conditions (usually as long as the protective device is not closed). [GB/T 15706-2012, definition 3.28.1] 2.1.10 Filtration device 2.1.10.1 Filtration device A device, which is used to collect and process the oil mist, oil fume, waste water, dust particles, as produced by the die casting unit. 2.1.11 Integrated control device 2.1.11.1 Integrated control system All the control devices and programs, which are needed to realize the process flow of the die casting unit. 2.1.11.2 Data acquisition Data collection, which is carried out for the purpose of process monitoring and report generation. [GB/T 15969.5-2002, definition 3.2] 2.1.11.3 Interlocked control The control, which is realized by synchronizing the data exchange between two users. At different points of time, a user waits for other users to send out some data it expects. [GB/T 15969.5-2002, definition 3.6] 2.1.11.4 Field bus A digital, two-way transmission, multi-branch structure communication network, that connects intelligent field devices and automation systems. 2.1.12 Vacuum device 2.1.12.1 Vacuum device A device, that quickly draws the gas in the cavity, to a predetermined degree of vacuum. 2.1.13 Marking machine 2.1.13.1 Marking machine A device, which is used for marking bar codes, characters, patterns, etc. on the surface of castings. 2.1.14 Others 2.1.14.1 Cooling device; casting cooling A device, that reduces the temperature of the casting to the temperature, which is required by the process. 2.2 Performance 2.2.1 Die casting machine 2.2.1.1 Most metal shot weight The maximum mass of molten metal, that can be casted into the injection chamber, at one time. [GB/T 21269-2018, definition 3.6] 2.2.1.2 Intensification The use of accumulators, which have differential piston area or higher pressure, to make the fluid pressure in the injection cylinder higher than the system pressure. 2.2.1.11 Fast injection working pressure In a hydraulic system, which has an accumulator, the set pressure of the fast injection accumulator. [GB/T 21269-2018, definition 3.25] 2.2.1.12 Intensification pressure stationarity value After the injection piston stops moving, the injection pressure which is set to elapse 200 ms. [GB/T 21269-2018, definition 3.26] 2.2.2 Melt insulation and pouring device 2.2.2.1 Max pouring weight of metal pouring device The mass of the molten metal, which is provided stably by the pouring equipment, at a single time. 2.2.2.2 Pouring accuracy The error value of each pouring weight, as relative to the standard pouring weight. 2.2.2.3 Minimum pouring cycle time The cycle time to complete one reclaiming, pouring, returning to the origin. 2.2.3 Extractor and conveyor device 2.2.3.1 Max load of extracting device The maximum mass of die castings, which can be reliably taken out. 2.2.3.2 Note: The requirements can be clearly stated, in normative documents, such as regulations, standards, technical specifications. [GB/T 27000-2006, definition 3.1] 2.2.7 System safety device 2.2.7.1 Redundancy The product has more than one means to perform the same prescribed function. Note: Rewrite GB/T 2900.99-2016, definition 2.10 192-10-02. 2.2.7.2 Reliability The ability of a machine, its parts or devices, to perform a specified function, under specified conditions AND within a specified time interval. [GB/T 15706-2012, definition 3.2] 2.2.8 Integrated control device 2.2.8.1 Storage capacity The capacity of user program memory. 2.2.8.2 Extensibility The extent to which the number of system I/O points, storage capacity, networking functions, various functional modules can be expanded. 2.2.8.3 Scanning speed The speed at which the application is executed. 2.2.9 Vacuum device 2.2.9.1 Pumping rate The ability of a vacuum pump, to pump-drain gas per unit time, under its working pressure. 2.2.9.2 Valve action time The time FROM when the vacuum valve receives the command TO when the valve body is completely closed. 2.2.9.3 Vacuum pressure The degree of gas thinning under vacuum. 2.2.10 Others 2.2.10.1 Cycle time of die cast cell The time, which is required for the die casting unit, to perform an empty cycle, in a maneuvering sequence. Note: One empty cycle time refers to the sum of the action time of mold closing, pouring, air injection, mold opening, ejection, extraction, spraying. 2.2.10.2 Mean operating time between failures; MTBF The average working time, between two consecutive failures. 2.2.10.3 Capability machine index; CMK The deviation of the mean value of the distribution, from the center value of the specification. Note: It only considers the influence of the equipment itself. 2.2.10.4 Comprehensive energy consumption The sum of physical quantities of various energy, which is actually consumed ......
