This Standard is applicable to informatization construction of automobile manufacturing enterprises; it is also applicable to consulting service providers and software developers who provide informatization services to the automotive industry. 2 Normative References The following documents are indispensable to the application of this Standard. In terms of references with a specified date, only versions with a specified date are applicable to this Standard. The latest version (including all the modifications) of references without a specified date is also applicable to this Standard. GB/T 31131-2014 Evaluation System for Manufacturing Informatization 3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 3.1 Informatization Informatization refers to the process of corresponding to enterprise’s strategic requirements, introducing, implementing and applying advanced technology and information system in accordance with the analysis of business process and its optimization demands to support enterprise’s various business, such as design, production, management, marketing and service, and the high degree of integration and coordination between various departments and the industrial chain to enhance enterprise’s comprehensive economic effectiveness and competitiveness. 3.2 Business Process Business process refers to the ultimate result of realizing enterprise’s or a certain part of enterprise’s previously established objectives through the implementation of partial ordered set of enterprise activities to reach certain expectations. [GB/T 18757-2008, Definition 3.5] virtual design, 3D printing, industrial robot and intelligent equipment in critical business links; enhance enterprise’s capabilities in collaborative research and development, precise management and control, intelligent manufacturing and collaborative service of the industrial chain; expedite the generation of a new industrial form of service- oriented manufacturing, such as cloud manufacturing, additive manufacturing and large-scale personalized customization, etc.; motivate enterprise’s transformation, upgrade and development in the automotive industry. 5.1.4 The principle of construction unity The implementation of informatization shall aim at enterprise business and global organization, establish informatization construction group that is led by the top management layer and constituted of senior business personnel, information technology backbones and a third-party consulting supervision to cover enterprise’s informatization standard establishment, overall planning design, implementation maintenance and service evaluation; implement “unity in standard, planning and construction”; guarantee integrated operation of enterprise’s informatization construction, and prevent the occurrence of questions like information isolated island and redundant construction, etc. 5.1.5 The principle of management normalization The implementation of informatization shall reinforce enterprise’s inter-business departments collaboration and even inter-enterprises collaboration; establish and refine informatization management mechanism system that includes information standard, information security protection system and informatization management and control system; systematically identify and scientifically manage all elements and whole-process involved in informatization construction; guarantee continuous control and innovative development of the informatization construction process; implement spiral escalation of the efficiency and effect of informatization construction. 5.2 Implementation Stage In the automotive industry, informatization shall be systematically implemented on the foundation of enterprise’s business development strategies in accordance with the achievements and development tendency of industrial informatization construction, advanced technological philosophies and service-oriented manufacturing pattern, and three stages of business analysis - information technology architectural design - information system implementation. Please refer to Figure 1. 5.3.1 Overview In the automotive industry, the implementation of informatization shall comply with the implementation requirements of “strategic-orientation, overall planning; demand guidance, step-by-step implementation; beneficial drive, breakthrough at key points; progress step by step, perseverance”. 5.3.2 Strategic orientation, overall planning The implementation of informatization must thoroughly consider the development tendency of the new generation of information technology and advanced manufacturing technology; compare the current situation of informatization application in domestic and overseas enterprises in the same industry; formulate overall planning of enterprise’s informatization construction. Overall planning shall take enterprise’s long-term development strategies and recent objectives of business development as the foundation. Overall planning shall be able to support enterprise’s informatization development strategy of adapting to the global manufacturing industry, cope with challenges brought by economic globalization, and manifest certain suitability, advancement and proactiveness. 5.3.3 Demand guidance, step-by-step implementation Enterprise shall formulate the cycle and planning of informatization construction in accordance with its informatization development strategies, its demand for concrete business, the preparation for informatization and the difficulty of implementation; conduct survey, research, model selection, project design, development implementation and operation maintenance of the informatization of various business step by step on the basis of implementing reasonable distribution of fund, talents, facilities and equipment, etc. 5.3.4 Beneficial drive, breakthrough at key points Firstly, the implementation of informatization shall assist in the settlement of problematic issues in enterprise’s strategic development; lay a particular emphasis on links that could bring significant economic benefits to enterprise; design and give preference to technical solutions and implementation strategies that are suitable for the automotive industry for major breakthroughs; accumulate experience and lay a foundation for the intensified application of information technology and system. 5.3.5 Progress step by step, perseverance In the automotive industry, the implementation of informatization is a continuously advanced, developed, effective and optimized process that has a beginning but no end. On the one hand, informatization involves enterprise organization and management transformation, so it shall be implemented step by step in an orderly way. Thus, it can implement comprehensive optimization of enterprise’s business procedure and organizational structure, which is conducive to risk management and control within a 7.5 Platform Layer Through the establishment of enterprise comprehensive control and management platform that integrates PLM-centered collaborative research and development platform, ERP-centered lean management platform, MES-centered manufacturing platform and client-centered network service platform, enterprise shall implement integrated informatization control and management of automotive enterprise in four major business fields, namely, research and development design, operation management, manufacture and marketing service. In addition, enterprise shall support automotive enterprise in the development of collaborative research and development, lean management, intelligent production and industrialized service. Enterprise shall establish PLM-centered collaborative research and development platform; construct and perfect automotive product design specification; build collaborative design platform. In addition, enterprise shall gradually implement model- based system engineering research and application; intensify model-based 3D product design. Enterprise shall devote itself to the construction of material database and test capability; build effective capability of product simulated analysis. Enterprise shall establish product design/process engineering/manufacturing integration platform; reinforce the capability of process virtual simulation optimization design; promote the study and application of product data management technology that supports platform- oriented, module-oriented and configuration-oriented products; thoroughly satisfy the conditions of large-scale personalized customization. Enterprise shall establish Internet-based product big data system; timely and accurately obtain information of the automotive industry and products; conduct intelligent analysis of customer demands and competitive products’ data. Enterprise shall establish ERP-centered lean management platform. Through effective integration with comprehensive quality management system, customer relationship management system and supplier management system, enterprise shall implement comprehensive quality control and management of enterprise products and operation process; implement effective collaboration of management of the top and bottom end of the supply chain. Through the integration with collaborative research and development platform, manufacturing platform and network service platform, enterprise shall implement uniform planning and distribution of resources; implement efficient collaboration of product life cycle material resource management, human resource management, financial resource management and information resource management. Enterprise shall establish MES-centered manufacturing platform; apply production barcode technology, manufacturing system configuration technology, production process modeling technology, business procedure integration technology, production site visualization technology, manufacturing information collection and optimized dispatching technology. Through the integration with workshop equipment, network facilities and sensing device, enterprise shall implement comprehensive control and management of automotive product production process, which includes production Figure 4 -- Overall Design Drawing of Information System of Automotive Industry 8.1.2 Fundamental support In the automotive industry, informatization shall establish fundamental network support environment, which supports the safe, reliable and stable operation of enterprise’s various information systems and business control and management platform. It shall include hardware equipment, ubiquitous network, software system and enterprise data center, etc. In the automotive industry, information standardization system shall include product data structural standard, client and supplier coding system, production equipment coding system, and product research and development technical specification, quality inspection technical specification, etc. Through the construction and perfection of standardized specification, it shall be able to guide specification construction of various information systems of enterprise in the automotive industry systematically and scientifically; guarantee enhanced efficiency in enterprise informatization construction. In the automotive industry, informatization security system shall be established on the basis of information security management system, personnel safety management system, system construction management system and system operation maintenance management system; satisfy behavioral specification and operation procedure of various stages and links, such as personnel management, system construction and system operation and maintenance, etc. Though institutionalized and normalized procedure and behavior, it shall guarantee consistency of various security management work. 8.1.3 Business management and control The collaborative research and development platform shall give priority to the support of the collaborative application of enterprise’s various research and development departments; establish product full-life cycle management-centered collaborative research and development platform, which takes three-dimensional design and simulation tool, simulation data management system, product test and test system as the auxiliary; form 3D digital model-based digitalized research and development system of design, manufacture, simulation and verification; effectively support product upgrade and innovation of technological pattern. Lean management platform shall focus on the intensified application of enterprise’s ERP system; establish ERP-centered lean management platform, which integrates the functions of supply chain management, customer relationship management and decision-making support management; support lean management and control of the whole process and whole value chain of product research and development design, manufacture field and operation management; provide enterprise with support in management and control of strategies, operation, finance and risks; comprehensive Figure 6 -- Manufacturing System Functional Architecture Manufacturing execution system shall include, but shall not be limited to, production management, material management, quality management, equipment management, production energy consumption management and production statement center, etc. Andon system shall support the alarming function of various abnormal incidents in the workshop, such as equipment failure, material shortage and abnormal production quality, etc. Storage management system shall implement refined management of the storage, dispatching, shipment and delivery of workshop materials, semi-finished products and finished products; support visualized and transparent management and control of workshop logistics. 8.4 Lean Management System Automotive lean management system shall satisfy enterprise’s demand for informatization management and control in financial accounting, human resource management, trans-department business collaboration, customer management and supply chain management, etc. Please refer to the functional framework in Figure 7. Through ERP-centered enterprise resource center, implement internal management and control of automotive enterprise. ERP system shall include, but shall not be limited to, management modules of planning, procurement, production (manufacture), storage, logistics, marketing, service, quality, personnel, asset and finance, etc. Through SRM/SCM system, implement management and control of suppliers and procurement. SRM/SCM system shall include, but shall not be limited to, management modules of supplier development, supplier management, public service portal, procurement plan, procurement order, billing notice and procurement contract, etc. Through DMS marketing system, implement management and control of dealers and marketing. DMS marketing system shall include, but shall not be limited to, management modules of marketing plan management, marketing order management, car distribution and dispatching management, customer information management, commercial policy management, dealer’s rebate management and dealer’s inventory management, etc. Through CRM system, implement management of customer relationship. CRM system shall include, but shall not be limited to, marketing clue management, customer file management, market activity management and call center management, etc. ERP system shall cover management activities of research and development design, material supply, manufacture and marketing service; form integration with various business information systems and data; form collaborative application of main engine plant, and the upstream and downstream industrial chain of the automotive industry. Figure 8 -- Marketing Service System Functional Architecture 9 Information System Implementation Process of Automotive Industry 9.1 Overview The implementation process of information system in the automotive industry shall include several stages, namely, demand analysis, system analysis, engineering implementation and operation maintenance. 9.2 Demand Analysis 9.2.1 Business process analysis 9.2.1.1 Business process status analysis The analysis of business process can adopt a work flow chart. In other words, decompose enterprise’s operation process into various business activities; establish relations among various activities within the process. It includes input, output and its triggering mechanism. Work process analysis has two objectives. one is to help members of the design group rapidly and accurately grasp the practical work content of the enterprise; the other is to determine whether the enterprise’s procedure is reasonable and unobstructed during the process analysis, so that it can be solved in system design and implementation. 9.2.1.2 Business process improvement countermeasure analysis Firstly, enterprise’s operation objective shall be explored. In accordance with the comparison of the operation objective and the current situation, existing questions shall be found out. Determine the objective of this system; take the completion of system objective as the starting point to analyze questions that exist in the various links that constitute the system. Integrate system functions to analyze the found questions. Finally, come up with countermeasures of solving this series of questions for improvement. 9.2.2 System implementation objective analysis Implement the information system by stages. Other than the provided overall objective, list out clarified goals of each stage correspondingly. The overall objective of information system project shall be jointly and repeatedly discussed and determined by enterprise leaders and chief designers of the design group. Generally speaking, the overall objective shall be determined in accordance with enterprise’s operation strategic objective, enterprise’s practical situation and consideration of the following aspects. optimizing enterprise’s product structure, enhancing labor productivity, enhancing production capacity, shortening the cycle of product development and manufacture, reinforcing product quality, reducing production cost, reinforcing market adaptability and implementing scientific management, etc. During the formulation of benefit goals, indexes that can be quantified (namely, benefit that can be quantified) shall be expressed in numbers. Benefit goal shall also be formulated in accordance with each stage. 9.3 System Design 9.3.1 Design task The primary task of design is to determine enterprise’s system demand; establish functional model of objective system; determine the entity and relation (preliminary stage of information modeling) of information model; propose main technical plans of implementation. In terms of system demand analysis and main technical plan design, design shall be intensified to the internal function demand of each sub-system and generate corresponding description of system demand. 9.3.2 Design work content The main work content of system design stage includes. a) Formulate system design work plan; b) System demand analysis. concretize demand into the demand for existing concrete technological implementation plan; c) Overall system structural design; d) Determination of sub-system technical plan; e) System’s functional modeling and technical performance index design; f) Determine the entity and relation of information model; g) Establish decision-making model or models proposed in other system structure; h) Propose the internal and external interface requirements that are needed in system integration; i) Elaborate development methods and technical routes that are planned to be adopted; j) Propose key technology and solutions; k) Determine system configuration; the design work in all aspects. 9.4 Project Implementation 9.4.1 Implementation task The primary task of project implementation is the content of physical realization of design, namely, to generate an operable information system. Application software coding, installation and debugging; installation and debugging of computer hardware and production equipment; global database and partial database, network installation and debugging, and implementation and position setting of organizational frameworks shall be completed. All the work shall ultimately reach the degree of feasibility; errors and loopholes that are found during the implementation stage shall be timely corrected. The ultimate criterion of of measurement shall be acceptance by the users. 9.4.2 Implementation content The main work content of the implementation stage includes. a) Revise and implement project implementation plan. b) Purchase or design hardware system. c) Installation, debugging, test and acceptance check of hardware system. d) Establish test database; design test through typical data loading; consider various necessary circumstances and conditions; minimize the size of test database. e) Debug database. f) Database loading. Thoroughly estimate the workload of engineering database; coordinate with professional technicians of different departments to verify data accuracy. g) Formulate agreements on application software programming. As an application software that aims at integrating all the parts, it shall make agreements on some common practice, which can make it convenient for the review, exchange and the integrated operation in the end. h) Programming. In terms of the implementation of engineering projects, various functions of the information system are needed; the implementation of the various functions of the information system needs programming of system’s functional modules. i) Unit test. During the process of module test, its performance, such as module interface, partial data structure, important execution path, error handling path and boundary conditions that affect these characteristics, shall be mainly performance test; operation convenience test. Software test shall base on the criteria in relevant software engineering specifications. 9.5 Operation Maintenance 9.5.1 Operation maintenance task In order to guarantee its normal and efficient operation, system that is put into operation needs to be continuously adjusted and modified. In other words, errors that are generated in the development stage and not found in the test stage shall be corrected. In addition, in order to adapt the system to changes in the external environment, functions shall be expanded, performance shall be improved; some necessary modifications shall also be conducted on the system. This stage starts when the system is put into operation and ends when it is replaced or abolished. Its main task is system maintenance, which can be mainly divided into 3 types of maintenance, namely, maintenance for correctness, perfection and adaptability. It shall be emphasized that the current workload of software maintenance is generally 3 times ~ 4 times of the workload of development. This shall be thoroughly evaluated in work. 9.5.2 Operation maintenance work content In the operation and maintenance stage, the work content mainly includes. a) Perfect various operation procedures and maintenance procedures; b) Make preparation for back-ups and recovery after breakdown; c) Provide technical trainings to system application (operation) personnel and maintenance personnel; d) System operation status record; e) Hardware resource maintenance; f) Application software maintenance; g) Technical infrastructure (database, network and system software) maintenance; h) Data and data file maintenance, and corresponding security protection work; i) Adjustment of institutions and personnel; j) Conduct regular system evaluation; compile stage report, including question report, software modification report and test report after modification, etc. ......
