Heat resistant glass wares by pressing
1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules,
marking, packaging, transportation, storage of borosilicate glass pressed heat-resistant
appliances.
This standard applies to mechanically and manually pressed borosilicate glass pressed
heat-resistant appliances (hereinafter referred to as pressed heat-resistant appliances).
2 Normative references
The following documents are essential for the application of this document. For dated
references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the
latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3.4.5 Scratches and abrasions
3.4.5.1 There shall be no scratches.
3.4.5.2 The length of scratches shall not exceed the specifications in Table 4.
4 Test methods
4.1 Physical-chemical properties
4.1.1 Linear thermal expansion coefficient
It is carried out, according to the test method, which is specified in GB/T 16920 or
GB/T 28194.
4.1.2 Water resistance
It is carried out, according to the test method, which is specified in GB/T 6582.
4.1.3 Alkali resistance
It is carried out, according to the test method, which is specified in GB/T 6580.
4.1.4 Acid resistance
It is carried out, according to the test method, which is specified in GB/T 6581 or GB/T
15728.
4.1.5 Dissolution of lead, cadmium, arsenic, antimony
The dissolution of lead and cadmium shall be carried out, according to the test method,
which is specified in GB/T 21170. The dissolution of arsenic and antimony shall be
carried out, according to the test method, which is specified in GB/T 35595.
4.1.6 Thermal shock temperature
It is carried out, according to the test method, which is specified in GB/T 6579.
4.1.7 Internal stress
It is carried out, according to the test method, which is specified in GB/T 15726.
form a batch.
5.2.3 Inspection implementation and inspection results
Inspection items, inspection levels, acceptance quality limits shall comply with Table
6.
Sampling inspection shall be carried out by the manufacturer, according to the exit-
factory inspection items in Table 5. The batch of products, that have passed the
inspection AND been accompanied with a certificate, can leave the factory.
5.3 Type inspection
5.3.1 Sampling plan
It shall adopt the normal inspection one-time sampling plan of GB/T 2828.1. The
inspection level and acceptance quality limit (AQL) are as shown in Table 6.
5.3.2 Inspection implementation and inspection results
Inspection items, inspection levels, acceptance quality limits shall comply with the
provisions in Table 6.
Sampling inspection shall be carried out by the manufacturer, according to the type
inspection items in Table 5. If the type inspection is qualified, it means that the batch
of products, that pass the exit-factory inspection, can be delivered to the user in whole
batch. If the type inspection fails, it shall stop production, analyze the causes, take
effective measures, until the type inspection is qualified, before restoring the production.
The products, which are produced in the period of unqualified type inspection, shall not
leave the factory; the products, that have already left the factory, shall be recalled.
5.3.3 Type inspection requirements
Type inspection shall be carried out, in one of the following situations:
a) Trial type identification of new products or old products after trans-plant
production;
b) After formal production, if there are major changes in structure, material, process,
which may affect the performance of the product;
c) During normal production, type inspection shall be carried out at least once a year;
d) When there is a big difference between the exit-factory inspection results and the
last type inspection;
e) When the national quality supervision agency requests type inspection.
