When products are indicated with microwave oven adaptability, they shall not crack
after one cycle or generate electric arc in accordance with the test method specified in
6.7.
5.7 Adaptability from refrigerator to baking oven
When products are indicated with baking oven adaptability, they shall not crack after
one cycle in accordance with the test method specified in 6.8.
5.8 Product specification allowance
5.8.1 Rim diameter allowance
The allowance for rim diameter greater than 200 mm is ± 1.0%; the allowance for rim
diameter of 60 mm ~ 200 mm is ± 1.5%; the allowance of rim diameter less than 60
mm is ± 2.0%.
5.8.2 Height allowance
The allowance for height is ± 3.0%.
5.8.3 Quality allowance
The allowance for quality is ± 6.0%.
5.9 Appearance quality
5.9.1 Products shall be free from the defects including crack, chip, split and leakage.
5.9.2 The glaze colour and face glossiness of complete set of products shall be
substantially identical.
5.9.3 The bottom rim of products shall be polished; they shall be stable when they
are placed on a plane.
5.9.4 The lid and mouth of lidded products shall be substantially matched well; when
pots are tilted by 70°, the lid shall not fall off. When the lid moves to one side, the
distance from the lid to mouth shall not exceed 3 mm. The tip of spout of pots shall not
be 3 mm lower than the pot mouth.
5.9.5 The marking on the bottom shall be correct and clear; it shall not be
conspicuously deflective or eccentric.
5.9.6 The appearance defects of products of all grades shall be as specified in Table
3 and shall conform to the following requirements.
a) not more than 2 defects for each super-grade product;
b) not more than 4 defects for each first-grade product;
6.7.1.1 One microwave oven with a microwave output power not less than 600 W.
6.7.1.2 One refrigerator which is capable of controlling the temperature difference
within the working area within ± 3°C.
6.7.2 Determination
Immerse samples in water at temperature (20 ± 3)°C for 1 h; take out and use cloth to
wipe them dry. Place a sponge soaked in water with a size of one half of the bottom
place of samples [having identical shape to the bottom of samples and thickness not
less than 15 mm] on samples; immediately place into a cabinet freezer at -8°C;
preserve temperature for 16 h after the temperature is achieved; place samples, within
45 s after taking out, in the middle of microwave oven turntable for microwave heating
[one container containing (125 ± 2.5) mL of water is placed at two corners of the
microwave oven, which shall not touch the turntable], with heating energy 72 000 J
and heating-up duration obtained by dividing energy by power, accurate to second;
place into a cabinet freezer at -8°C within 45 s after heating; preserve temperature for
16 h after the temperature is achieved; take out samples to cool down to room
temperature and check whether samples crack. If an electric arc is generated during
the test process, immediately terminate the test and state the reason in the report for
the termination of the test is that an electric arc is generated.
6.8 Adaptability from refrigerator to baking oven
6.8.1 Apparatus
6.8.1.1 One heating furnace which is capable of controlling the temperature
difference within the working area within ± 5°C and has a sufficient rate of temperature
increase to ensure that temperature rises to the testing temperature within 15 min after
placing samples.
6.8.1.2 One refrigerator which is capable of controlling the temperature difference
within the working area within ± 3°C.
6.8.2 Determination
Immerse samples in water at temperature (20 ± 3)°C for 1 h; take out and use cloth to
wipe them dry. Place a sponge soaked in water, with a size of one half of the bottom
plane of samples [having identical shape to the bottom of samples and thickness not
less than 15 mm], on samples; immediately place into a cabinet freezer at -8°C;
preserve temperature for 16 h after the temperature is achieved; place into a furnace
at 200°C within 45 s after taking out samples; preserve temperature for 20 min after
the temperature is achieved; take out samples after heating, place them on a material
with poor heat conduction performance to cool down to room temperature and check
whether samples crack.
6.9 Deformation determination
The test method for deformation shall be as specified in GB/T 3300.
6.10 Determination of product specification errors and defect dimensions
The test method for product specification errors and defect dimensions shall be as
specified in GB/T 3301.
7 Inspection Rules
7.1 Inspection classification
Product inspection is classified into delivery inspection and type inspection; the
inspection results are the numbers of rejects per 100 units (the unit method).
7.2 Delivery inspection
