Specification for Key Equipment Testing
1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 35070 specifies the test items and test methods of road-side unit
and IC card read-write terminal of parking electronic toll collection system.
This Part is applicable to the testing of key equipment, which adopts non-cash payment
card or implements automatic payment through dedicated short-range communication
protocol in parking electric toll collection system and vehicle access management
system.

5 RSU Test Items and Test Methods
5.1 Test Conditions
5.1.1 Test site and configuration
RSU test site and configuration shall comply with the requirements in 5.1 in GB/T
20851.5-2007.
5.1.2 Test signal
RSU test signal shall comply with the requirements in 5.2 in GB/T 20851.5-2007.
5.1.3 Test status
The test RSU shall be able to receive and transmit test signals in accordance with the
requirements in 5.2 in GB/T 20851.5-2007 and test demands. The test RSU shall be
able to consecutively transmit carrier wave; modulate unencoded pseudorandom
binary sequence (PN9) signal (whose cycle is 511 Bits) at work frequency and all zero
code of FM0 coding. The test RSU shall be able to draw forth the post-demodulation
received data and clock signal; provide test points.
5.2 Physical Layer
5.2.1 Carrier frequency and frequency tolerance
Carrier frequency and frequency tolerance shall be tested in accordance with the
stipulations in 6.2 in GB/T 20851.5-2007. Test result shall comply with the stipulations
a) Power up the test RSU; set it up to transmit BST;
b) The test equipment receives the BST; judges its correctness; returns VST;
c) The test RSU receives the VST from the test equipment; judges the correctness
of the VST; registers its MAC address;
d) The test RSU transmits Get_Secure.request to read vehicle’s information file;
e) Judge whether the test RSU correctly transmits Get_Secure.request;
f) The test equipment receives Get_Secure.request transmitted by the test RSU;
returns Get_Secure.response;
g) Monitor the test RSU’s data reception; judge whether the Get_Secure.response
file received by the test RSU has a correct structure and content;
h) Test and verify whether the security authentication is correct.
The test result shall comply with the stipulations in 5.1.2, 5.1.3 and 5.2 in GB/T
35070.2-2018.
5.3.4 Transfer_Channel primitive test
Please see the test methods below:
a) Power up the test RSU; set it up to transmit BST;
b) The test equipment receives the BST; judges its correctness; returns VST;
c) The test RSU receives the VST from the test equipment; judges the correctness
of the VST; registers its MAC address;
d) The test RSU transmits Transfer_Channel.request; uses IC card instruction to
complete the application operation;
e) Judge whether the test RSU correctly transmits Transfer_Channel.request;
f) The test equipment receives Transfer_Channel.request transmitted by the test
RSU; returns Transfer_Channel.response;
g) Monitor the test RSU’s data reception; judge whether the
Transfer_Channel.response file received by the test RSU has a correct
structure and content;
h) Test and verify whether the security authentication is correct.
The test result shall comply with the stipulations in 5.1.2, 5.1.3 and 5.2 in GB/T
35070.2-2018.
b) The test equipment and the test RSU complete a spliced transaction process
of compound transaction;
c) Judge whether the transaction process is correctly completed;
d) Judge whether the security authentication can correctly authenticate;
e) Judge whether data in the transaction process is correct.
The test result shall comply with the stipulations in 5.1.2, 5.1.3 and 5.2 in GB/T
35070.2-2018.
5.4 Environment
5.4.1 High-temperature test
RSU high-temperature test shall comply with Test Bd in GB/T 2423.2: high-temperature
test of heat-dissipating test sample temperature gradient. In addition,
a) Temperature: the upper limit of the temperature range stipulated in 5.2 in GB/T
35070.2-2018;
b) Duration: 2 h.
The test result shall comply with the stipulations in 5.2 in GB/T 35070.2-2018.
5.4.2 Low-temperature test
RSU low-temperature test shall comply with Test Ad in GB/T 2423.1: low-temperature
test of heat-dissipating test sample temperature gradient. In addition,
a) Temperature: the lower limit of the temperature range stipulated in 5.2 in GB/T
35070.2-2018;
b) Duration: 2 h.
The test result shall comply with the stipulations in 5.2 in GB/T 35070.2-2018.
5.4.3 Impact test
RSU impact test shall comply with the stipulations in GB/T 2423.5. In addition,
a) Pulse waveform: half-sine pulse;
b) Peak acceleration: 300 m/s2;
c) Duration: 18 ms.
The test result shall comply with the stipulations in 5.2 in GB/T 35070.2-2018.
R---transaction success rate;
NC---number of successful transactions;
N---total number of transactions.
Transaction success rate shall comply with the stipulations in 5.4 in GB/T 35070.2-
2018.
6 Test Items and Test Methods of IC Card Read-write
Terminal
6.1 Test Conditions of IC Card Read-write Terminal
6.1.1 Test conditions
Test conditions shall comply with the requirements in 5.1 in GB/T 18239-2000.
6.1.2 Test status
The test IC card’s read-write terminal shall have complete software and hardware.
Under power-on state, install test PSAM card in the IC card read-write terminal. It shall
be able to complete the consumption process verification in GB/T 35070.3 with the test
contactless IC card.
6.2 Environment
Conduct the test in accordance with the stipulations in 5.7 in GB/T 18239-2000. The
test result shall comply with the stipulations in 6.1.1 in GB/T 35070.2-2018.
6.3 Security
Conduct the test in accordance with the stipulations in 5.4 in GB/T 18239-2000. The
test result shall comply with the stipulations in 6.1.2 in GB/T 35070.2-2018.
6.4 Reliability
Conduct the test in accordance with the stipulations in 5.5 in GB/T 18239-2000. The
test result shall comply with the stipulations in 6.1.3 in GB/T 35070.2-2018.
6.5 Electromagnetic Compatibility
Conduct the test in accordance with the stipulations in 5.6 in GB/T 18239-2000. The
test result shall comply with the stipulations in 6.1.4 in GB/T 35070.2-2018.
6.6 Appearance and Structure
6.7.3 Communication protocol
6.7.3.1 Test equipment
Test equipment: terminal protocol test equipment.
6.7.3.2 Test methods
Please see the test methods below:
a) Use terminal protocol test equipment to gather the sequence of instructions
generated by the IC card reader and writer; record parameters (opening,
conflict prevention, chain processing and frame structure, etc.) of the IC card
reader and writer during the protocol execution process;
b) Use terminal protocol characteristic test equipment; in the polling stage, gather
the sequence of instructions generated by the IC card reader and writer; before
IC card reader and writer transmits every Type A and Type B wake-up
instruction, record the time that the IC card reader and writer takes to transmit
the carrier wave;
c) During communication interaction, gather the sequence of instructions
generated by the IC card reader and writer; record parameters (opening,
conflict prevention, chain processing and frame structure, etc.) of the IC card
reader and writer during the protocol execution process.
The test result shall comply with the stipulations in 6.3.1 in GB/T 35070.2-2018.
6.8 Display Module and Voice Module
6.8.1 Test equipment
Test equipment: contactless test CPU card; test PSAM card.
6.8.2 Test methods
Please see the test methods below:
a) Take Appendix A as a reference to write IC card transaction process test case;
b) Set up the compound consumption transaction amount on the test IC card’s
read-write terminal to be 1 RMB;
c) Use the test CPU card to swipe the card; coordinate with the test PSAM to
complete the compound consumption transaction test. Conduct manual
observation; record the result displayed by the IC card read-write terminal and
the result shown by the indicator light. Conduct manual monitoring of the output
voice and beeping prompt from the loudspeaker.
b) Under the operating state, place the IC card read-write terminal for 24 h;
c) At the same moment, record the time of the clock synchronization system and
the time of the IC card read-write terminal;
d) Calculate the difference between the time of the clock synchronization system
and the time of the IC card read-write terminal.
The test result shall comply with the stipulation in 6.3.7 in GB/T 35070.2-2018.
6.13 Program Download Interface
6.13.1 Test equipment
Test equipment: test host (preload IC card read-write terminal firmware download
program and firmware program).
6.13.2 Test methods
Please see the test methods below:
a) Initialize the IC card read-write terminal; conduct manual inspection to see
whether the terminal’s version number is the initial version number;
b) Use wires to connect the test host and IC card read-write terminal’s program
download interface;
c) On the test host, operate the firmware download program; update IC card read-
write terminal’s firmware program;
d) Inspect the firmware program version of the IC card read-write terminal.
The replacement of the IC card read-write terminal’s firmware program is successful.
The update of the version number is successful.
6.14 Communication Interface
6.14.1 Test equipment
Test equipment: test host (preload data transmission and reception test program).
6.14.2 Test methods

a) Connect the test host and the test IC card’s read-write terminal communication
interface (wired or wireless);
b) Use data transmission and reception test program; write a script to implement

A.1 Consumption
A.1.1 Test objective
Test e-wallet consumption functions.
A.1.2 Test methods
In accordance with the following methods, test e-wallet consumption functions:
a) Correctness test:
---Reset, choose networked toll collection application;
---Read the balance;
---Consumption initialization;
---Execute consumption;
---Read transaction authentication code.
b) When consumption initialization is not executed, and consumption transaction
is directly conducted, return to “6901”;
c) When key identifier is not correct, consumption initialization shall return to
“9403”;
d) When consumption initialization is successful, MAC in consumption time
message is not correct, return to “9302”;
e) When the amount of transaction is larger than the wallet balance, consumption
initialization shall return to “9401”.
