Prevent from the generation of any condensation on the equipment. 4.3 Altitude The altitude shall be < 2,000 m. 5 Functional Requirements 5.1 Basic Requirements 5.1.1 The topology configuration of BMS shall be coordinated with the topology and battery grouping mode of PCS; optimized control and comprehensive management shall be implemented in the state of battery. 5.1.2 Among the functional requirements of BMS, the specific hierarchy of implementing each function depends on topology configuration of BMS. It shall be implemented from hierarchy to hierarchy. 5.2 Measurement Requirements BMS shall enable real-time measurement of relevant electric and thermal data of battery, including cell voltage, battery module temperature and voltage, series loop current, insulation resistance and other parameters. The accuracy of parameter measurement under various states shall comply with the following regulations. a) Battery capacity and charge-discharge current shall be taken into consideration in the determination of the current sampling resolution; the measurement error shall be ≤ ± 0.2%, and the sampling period shall be ≤ 50 ms; b) The measurement error of cell voltage shall be ≤ ± 0.3%, and the sampling period shall be ≤ 200 ms; c) The resolution of temperature sampling shall be ≤ 1 °C, the measurement error shall be ≤ ± 2 °C, and the sampling period shall be ≤ 5 s. 5.3 Estimation Requirements d) Power balance management function. it shall adopt energy-efficient balance control strategy and guarantee the satisfaction of the consistency requirement among batteries. 5.8 Statistics Function BMS shall be equipped with statistics function of accumulative charged and discharged electric energy of battery charge and discharge, and the function of power-off maintenance. 5.9 Communication Function 5.9.1 There shall be communication interfaces between BMS and power conversion system, and standby interfaces for redundancy. In addition, it shall be equipped with one physical connection interface. 5.9.2 There shall be Ethernet communication interfaces between BMS and monitoring system, and standby interfaces for redundancy. In addition, BMS within the electrochemical energy storage station shall be networked independently. 5.10 Time-checking Function BMS shall be equipped with time-checking function, and accept IRIG-B(DC) code time-checking or NTP network time-checking. 5.11 Average Interval Between Failures BMS shall manifests satisfying reliability and availability, and the average interval between failures shall be ≥ 40,000 h. 5.12 Fixed-value Setting Function BMS shall be able to set the operating parameter, warning and protection value of battery, and be equipped with the function of on-the-site and remote modification. 5.13 Operation Authority Management Function BMS shall be equipped with the function of managing the password to operation authority, and any operation of changing the mode or parameter of operation shall pass authority confirmation. 5.14 Incident Recording Function BMS shall be able to store ≥ 5,000 incidents. Modification of operating parameter, battery management cell warning information, protective action, time of activating/deactivating charge and discharge shall all be recorded, and the record of time shall be accurate to second.
