Oil-free Reciprocating Air Compressor on Locomotives and Power Cars 1 Application Scope This Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging and storage of air-cooling, single-stage, single-action, direct-drive oil-free reciprocating air compressors (hereinafter referred to as “air compressors”) used on the pantograph system of locomotives and power cars. This Standard applies to air compressors used on the pantograph system of locomotives and power cars, whose rated discharge pressure is not greater than 1.0 MPa. 2 Normative References The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. DC 110 V; f) rotational speed. as specified in the product technical documents, expressed in r/min. 3.1.3 Air compressors shall be capable of operating normally under the following service environmental conditions. a) the altitude not more than 2 500 m; 4.1.2 The testing of the input specific power of air compressors shall be conducted as specified in GB 19153. 4.1.3 The testing of the noise power level of air compressors shall be conducted as specified in GB/T 4980. 4.1.4 The testing of the mechanical vibration intensity of air compressors shall be conducted as specified in GB/T 7777. 4.2 Environment adaptation 4.2.1 High-temperature test 4.2.1.1 After storing air compressors for 2 h under the environmental conditions of 40°C, start the machine for continuous operation for 2 h. the operating voltage during operation is DC 110 V and the discharge pressure is the rated discharge pressure. Measure the discharge temperature of air compressors at this moment, which shall be as specified in this Standard. 4.2.1.2 Install the air compressors under the environmental conditions of 70°C which are installed inside the car body in actual use or install the air compressors under the environmental conditions of 50°C which are installed inside the car body; store for 2 h; start the machine to run continuously for 10 min. the operating voltage during operating is DC 110 V and the discharge pressure is the rated discharge pressure. Measure the discharge temperature of air compressors at this moment, which shall be as specified in this Standard. 4.2.2 Low-temperature test After storing air compressors for 2 h under the environmental conditions of - 40°C, air compressors shall be capable of being started normally under the operating voltage of DC 77 V and operating continuously for 1 h under the rated discharge pressure. 4.2.3 High-altitude test The test shall be conducted in areas of altitude 2 500 m or simulated in a low air pressure testing chamber in the library. The environmental pressure of the testing chamber during the simulation test is 75 kPa. The test time is 30 min; air compressors shall be capable of operating normally under the rated pressure ratio. 4.2.4 Impact and vibration test Conduct impact and vibration test for the air compressors in accordance with the provisions for equipment class A, category 1 specified in GB/T 21563-2008. Conduct inspection for the connectors and appearance after test. Operate continuously for 2 h under the rated discharge pressure, no abnormality shall occur during operation. ......
