3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions and those ones stipulated in GB/T 19596 are
applicable to this document.
3.1 Dismantling
5.3.1.2 Remove the shell of the traction battery pack (case), according to the
combination mode, the dismantling modes are as follows.
a) If the shell of the traction battery pack (case) is connected by the bolts, adopt the
corresponding tools or device to dismantle according to the type and specification
of the bolts.
b) If the shell of the traction battery pack (case) is connected by metal welding or
plastic sealing, use the professional cutting device to dismantle, and accurately
control the cutting position and cutting depth.
c) If the shell of the traction battery pack (case) is connected by embedding mode,
use professional cutting device to dismantle.
5.3.1.3 After removal the shell, firstly dismantle brackets, partitions, and the like
auxiliary fixing parts.
5.3.1.4 Use the insulation tools to remove the high-voltage wiring harness, circuit
board, battery management system, high-voltage safety box and the like functional
components.
5.3.1.5 According to the traction battery module positions and fixing modes, remove
the relevant fixture, components in cooling system; adopt the special picker to remove
the module.
5.3.1.6 During dismantling the traction battery pack (case), pay attention to avoiding
the removal of bolts touch the high and low voltage connecting contact, so that prevent
the fire due to short-circuit; meanwhile, use the special spare magnetic picking-up tools
to take out the metal parts dropped into the gap.
5.3.2 Traction battery module dismantling
5.3.2.1 Special module-dismantling device shall be adopted to dismantle the module
safely and environmentally.
5.3.2.2 Adopt the special lifting tools and lifting devices to lift the traction battery
module to the dismantling tooling platform or module dismantling equipment inlet.
5.3.2.3 Remove the shell of the battery module, according to the combination modes,
the dismantling methods are as follows.
a) If the shell of the traction battery module is connected by bolts, according to the
type and specification of the bolts, with the help of the special module tooling fixture
to position, then use the corresponding tools to dismantle.
b) If the shell of the traction battery module is connected by metal welding or plastic
sealing, according to the welding position or sealing port angle, use the module-
