1 Scope
This Standard specifies the specifications for plug-in (including range
extended) hybrid electric passenger cars.
This Standard is applicable to M1 type hybrid electric vehicle that can be
externally charged and is with pure electric driving function.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T
19596 and the following ones apply.
3.1 plug-in hybrid electric passenger cars
a hybrid electric passenger car with an external charging function and a
certain pure electric driving range
3.2 range extended electric passenger cars
an electric passenger that generates electricity by range extender to increase
the mileage
3.3 range extender
a special device mounted on vehicle to increase electric vehicle driving range;
the range extender in this Standard refers to internal combustion engine
3.4 pure electric driving mode
a mode that provides energy by rechargeable energy storage device, of
which the motor drives vehicle
4 Requirements
4.1 General
Vehicles shall be manufactured in accordance with the drawings and design
documents approved by the prescribed procedures.
When the vehicle is running in the pure electric driving mode at a speed less
than 20 km h, it shall be able to send an appropriate prompt sound to people
outside the vehicle.
A.2.3 Test loading
The vehicle shall be loaded according to the procedure specified in GB
A.2.4 Test cycle
The test cycle shall consist of 4 urban cycles and one suburban circulation
procedure, as specified in GB 18352.
If the vehicle has several different operating modes (sport type, comfort type,
economy type, etc.), the test shall be carried out according to the
manufacturer's recommended mode. The driving mileage, emissions, energy
consumption measurements shall use same driving mode.
Between the steps, if the vehicle is required to move, do not use the braking
energy to recover the charge.
A.3 Pure electric driving mode driving range measurement
Drive the vehicle according to the conditions of A.2.4, until the engine starts.
The measurement of pure electric driving mode driving range shall end. The
driving distance by the vehicle shall be pure electric driving mode. The results
shall be rounded to the nearest integer bit.
