GB/T 32620 “Lead-acid batteries used for electric road vehicles” is divided into
two parts.
- Part 1. Technical condition;
- Part 2. Kinds of products and specifications.
This part is part 2 of GB/T 32620.
This part was drafted in accordance with the rules given GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part was proposed by China Electrical Equipment Industry Association.
This part shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization
Technical Committee on Lead-acid Battery (SAC/TC 69).

1 Scope
This part of GB/T 32620 specifies the model compilation and polarity
identification, battery model and classification, battery terminal location,
terminal size and marking of the lead-acid batteries used for electric road
vehicles.
This part is applicable to the lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as
batteries) and batteries pack having a rated capacity of 32 Ah (inclusive) above
for electric vehicles, electric tricycles, golf carts, tourist vehicles, electric
motorcycles which use the battery as the main power source.
This part does not apply to battery and battery pack which are used for start-up,
electric power, traction and other purposes.
2 Normative references
The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For
the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable
to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including
all the amendments) are applicable to this Standard.

3.1 Model preparation
Battery model shall be prepared in accordance with the requirements of JB/T
2599. Specifically. product type is identified by the first English capital letter
“EV” of the Chinese character “electric vehicles”. AND the detailed
nomenclature is as shown in Figure 1 (enterprises can determine their own
