Terminology of electric vehicle charging/battery swap
infrastructure
1 Scope
This Standard specified the terms and definitions related to charging/battery swap
infrastructure for electric vehicle.
This Standard applies to the electric charging/battery swap infrastructure that adopts
conductive charging mode.
2 Charging/Battery Swap Infrastructure
2.1
Charging/battery swap infrastructure
Generic term of related facilities that provide electric energy for electric vehicle. It
generally includes charging station, battery swap station, battery distribution center, AC
charging spot with compacted or dispersed arrange etc.
3 Charging/Battery Swap Mode
3.1
Vehicle charge mode
The mode of directly connecting the electric vehicle to the charging equipment for
charging.
3.1.1
DC charge
The mode of adopting DC power supply to provide electric energy for electric vehicle.
3.1.2
AC charge
The mode of adopting AC power supply to provide electric energy for electric vehicle.
6.3.4
Battery pack storage rack
Equipment that is used for centralized bearing the battery pack.
6.3.5
Battery pack swap equipment
Special equipment that is used for unloading, carrying and loading battery pack.
6.3.6
Battery pack transfer equipment
Special equipment that is used for carrying the battery pack to the specified position.
6.3.7
Vehicle pilot system
System that can achieve guiding the electric vehicle to the specified position in order to
conduct the battery swap.
6.3.8
Battery pack swap time
Required time for electric vehicles - FROM getting ready at the position TO completing the
battery swap (electric vehicle has the driving conditions).
6.4
Monitoring system
System that is used for monitoring, controlling and managing the running status and
environment of the equipment in the battery swap station/battery swap station, by using
information, network and communication technology.
6.5
Metering and billing system
Full set of metering and billing device that are used for electric energy settlement between
the charging station/battery swap station and the power grid, between the charging
station/battery swap station and the users of the electric vehicles.
