This Part is the 2nd part of GB/T 2910. GB/T 2910-1997 is replaced by the following standards: GB/T 2910.1, GB/T 2910.3, GB/T 2910.4, GB/T 2910.6, GB/T 2910.7, GB/T 2910.8, GB/T 2910.9, GB/T 2910.10, GB/T 2910.11, GB/T 2910.12, GB/T 2910.13, GB/T 2910.14, GB/T 2910.15, GB/T 2910.16, GB/T 2910.17, GB/T 2910.18, GB/T 2910.19 and GB/T 2910.22. This Part identically uses ISO 1833-2:2007 Textiles - Quantitative chemical analysis - Part 2: Ternary fibre mixtures. Compared with ISO 1833-2:2006, this Part made the following editorial modifications: - used Chinese standards to replace the International standards in normative references; - deleted the foreword of ISO 1833-2:2007. This Part replaces GB/T 2911-1997 Textiles--Ternary fibre mixtures--Quantitative analysis. Compared with Clause 7 of GB/T 2911-1997, the differences in this Part are as follows: - added the Introduction; - deleted Clauses 4, 5, 6 of GB/T 2911-1997; - added “Calculation of the analysis by manual separation” (8.4); - added “Method of analysis by a combination of manual separation and chemical means” (Clause 9); - modified the annex of GB/T 2911-1997 to Annex A and Annex B of this Standard. Annex A and Annex B of this Part are informative. This Part was proposed by China Textile Industry Association. This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of Sub-committee on Basic Standards of National Technical Committee on Textile of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 209/SC 1). Main drafting organizations of this Part: Shanghai Wool Textile Science and Technology Research Institute, Textile Industry Standardization Institute. Main drafters of this Part: Zhu Jie, Shen Meihua, Yan Yanping, Zhu Qingfang, Zhou Xiaodong. Versions of standard substituted by GB/T 2911 are: - GB/T 2910-1982; - GB/T 2910-1997. Textiles - Quantitative chemical analysis – Part 2: Ternary fibre mixture 1 Scope This Part of GB/T 2910 specifies methods of quantitative chemical analysis of various ternary mixtures of fibres. The field of application of each method for analysing binary mixtures, specified in the parts of GB/T 2910, indicates the fibres to which the method is applicable. 2 Normative references The following standards contain the provisions which, through reference in this part of GB/T 2910, constitute the provisions of this Part. For dated references, subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this Part. However, the parties who enter into agreement based on this Part are encouraged to investigate whether the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this Part. GB/T 2910.1, Textiles - Quantitative chemical analysis - Part 1: General principles of testing (ISO 1833-1:2006, IDT) 3 Principle After identification of the components of a mixture, the non-fibrous matter is removed by a suitable pre-treatment, and then one or more of the four variants of the process of selective solution described in the Introduction is applied. Except where this presents technical difficulties, it is preferable to dissolve the major fibre component so as to obtain the minor fibre component as the final residue. 4 Reagents and apparatus Use the apparatus and reagents described in GB/T 2910.1-2009. ......
