GB/T 25389 “Wind Turbine Low-Speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous
Generator” is divided into two parts.
— Part 1. Technical conditions;
— Part 2. Test methods.
This Part is the first part of GB/T 25389 “Wind Turbine Low-Speed Permanent
Magnet Synchronous Generator”.
This Part was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.
This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee for
Standardization of Wind Machinery.

Part 2. Testing methods
1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 25389 specifies the test methods of low-speed permanent
magnet synchronous generator used for grid-connected wind turbines.
This Part is applicable to the test of low-speed permanent magnet synchronous
generator (hereinafter referred to as generator). Other types of generators may
adopt this Part by reference.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain the provisions which, through reference in this
Part of GB/T 25389, become the provisions of this Part. For the dated
references, the subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions
do not apply to this Part. However, the parties who enter into agreement based
on this Part are encouraged to investigate whether the latest versions of these
documents are applicable. For undated reference documents, the latest
versions apply to this Standard.

4 Test requirements
4.1 Safety measures
Because of test process that involves dangerous current, voltage, magnetic
field and mechanical force, all tests shall adopt the safety precautions.
Therefore, all tests shall be conducted by those who have relevant knowledge
and experience.
4.2 Measuring instruments and meters
5.2.2 Measurement of winding’s DC resistance
Winding’s DC resistance can be measured by electric bridge method, micro-
ohm-meter method, voltmeter-ammeter method or other measuring methods,
in which the commonly used methods are as follow.
