Steels for Diamond Welded Saw Blades
1 Scope
This document specifies the order content, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements,
test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of steels for diamond
welded saw blades.
This document is applicable to hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plates and strips used for
diamond welded saw blades with a thickness not greater than 15 mm.

3 Terms and Definitions
This document does not have terms and definitions that need to be defined.
4 Order Content
The contract for ordering in accordance with this document shall include the following contents:
a) Serial No. of this document;
b) Designation;
c) Dimensions, shape and accuracy level;
d) Weight;
e) Delivery status;
f) Banded structure, grain size and other special requirements (if necessary).
5 Dimensions, Shape and Weight
5.1 The dimensions, shape, weight and allowable deviations of hot-rolled steel plates or steel
strips shall comply with the stipulations of GB/T 709-2019; the allowable deviation of thickness
shall comply with the stipulations of Table 4 in GB/T 709-2019; the unevenness shall comply
with the stipulation in Table 11 of GB/T 709-2019 that the minimum yield strength is greater
than 300 MPa.
5.2 The dimensions, shape, weight and allowable deviations of cold-rolled steel plates or steel
strips shall comply with the stipulations of GB/T 708-2019; the allowable deviation of thickness
shall comply with the stipulations of Table 5 in GB/T 708-2019; the unevenness shall be
determined through negotiation between the supply-side and the demand-side.
6 Technical Requirements
6.1 Chemical Composition
6.1.1 The designation, unified digital code and chemical composition (smelting analysis) of the
steel shall comply with the stipulations of Table 1.
