GB/T 20234 consists of the following parts: --- Part 1: General requirements; --- Part 2: AC charging coupler; --- Part 3: DC charging coupler. This Document replaced GB/T 20234.3-2015 Connection Set for Conductive Charing of Electric Vehicles – Part 3: DC Charging Coupler. Compared with GB/T 20234.3-2015, the major technical changes of this Document are as follows besides the structural adjustments and editorial modifications: a) Change the rated voltage and rated current of the DC charging interface (see Clause 1, Tables 1 and 2 of this Edition; Clause 1, Tables 1 and 2 of the 2015 Edition); b) Add requirements for locking devices (see 6.4 of this Edition); c) Change the height dimensions of the vehicle socket CC2 plug bush (see 7.3 of this Edition; Appendix A of the 2015 Edition); d) Added structural examples of locking devices (see Clause 10 of this Edition). This Document applies to DC charging couplers with rated voltage not exceeding DC 1500V and rated current (continuous maximum operating current) not exceeding 800 A. 2 Normative References The provisions in following documents become the essential provisions of this Document through reference in this Document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this Document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including all the amendments) is applicable to this Document. GB/T 19596 Terminology of electric vehicles GB/T 20234.1 Connection set for conductive charging of electric vehicles - Part 1: General requirements GB/T 29317 Terminology of electric vehicle charging/battery swap infrastructure 3 Terms and Definitions For the purposes of this Document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19596, GB/T 20234.1 and GB/T 29317 apply. 4 General Requirements 4.1 The technical requirements and test methods of the DC charging coupler shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 20234.1. 4.2 The control guidance circuit and control principle applicable to the DC charging coupler Figure 3 -- Schematic Diagram of Contact Connection Interface 6.4 Locking device 6.4.1 The DC charging coupler shall have a mechanical locking device. The mechanical locking device shall be able to prevent accidental disconnection of the charging coupler during normal working conditions. The vehicle plug shall be equipped with a mechanical locking rod, mechanical lock head, pin and other mechanisms; and the vehicle socket shall be equipped with a mechanical locking notch that can match the mechanical lock head. 6.4.2 The vehicle plug should have an electronic locking device, and the electronic locking device should be able to lock and unlock the movement of the mechanical locking rod. The vehicle plug should have an emergency unlocking function, and should be able to unlock the mechanical locking lever when the electronic locking device is powered off or fails. 6.4.3 If the vehicle plug is used in an automatic charging connection device that cannot be directly plugged and unplugged manually, the vehicle plug does not need to have a locking device. The function of maintaining the charging interface during the power transmission process and preventing plugging and unplugging under load can be provided by the charging automatic connection device. 7 Structural Dimensions of Charging Coupler 7.1 General The structural dimension of charging coupler products shall not exceed the scope specified in 7.2 and 7.3. 7.2 Vehicle plug The structural dimension of the vehicle plug shall comply with the provisions in Figure 4. ......
