In order to ensure the standard coordination and operability, this Standard makes the necessary editorial changes in the equivalent of the translation of the international standard. Compared with ISO 15607, this Standard made the following changes in the content. - directly used the definitions of GB/T 3375; - deleted the clause of "Abbreviations" in ISO 15607, added the abbreviations in relevant terms; - the process specifications for different welding methods shall be specified by the ISO 15609 series of standards; this series of standards is being drafted. In order to ensure the operability of the standard, this Standard does not specify the format requirements for the welding procedure. This Standard shall be issued for the first time. Annex A, Annex B, Annex C of this Standard are informative. This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. Specification and qualification of welding procedures for metallic materials - General rules 1 Scope This Standard defines general rules for the specification and qualification of welding procedures. This Standard is applicable to manual, mechanized and automatic welding. 2 Normative references The following standards contain the provisions which, through reference in this Standard, constitute the provisions of this Standard. For dated references, subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this Standard. However, the parties who enter into agreement based on this Standard are encouraged to investigate whether the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this Standard.
