Main drafting staffs of this Standard. Yang Fan, Lu Bin, Yaogu, Zhang Jie, Liu Yongdan, Guo Xibiao, Fan Chongzhen, and Ma Hong. Plywood for Container Flooring 1 Scope This Standard specifies definition, technical requirements, testing method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of plywood for container flooring. This Standard is applicable to general plywood for container flooring for general cargo, which is made of wood veneer, not surface-treated, and has corrosion protection function. 2 Normative References The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this Standard. For the dated references, the subsequent amendments (excluding corrigendum) or revisions of these publications do not apply. However, all parties coming to an agreement according to this Standard are encouraged to study whether the latest edition of these documents is applicable. For the undated references, the latest edition of the normative document is applicable to this Standard. GB/T 2828.1-2003 Sampling procedures for inspection by attribute - Part1. Quarantine Aspects and Procedures" (2001), Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) (2001) 4.6 Physiochemical properties 4.6.1 Physical and mechanical property shall meet the requirements of Table 3. Table 3 Physical Mechanical Property Index of Plywood For Container Flooring Inspection items Unit Index value Static bending strength Along grain MPa ≥85.0 Cross grain ≥35.0 Elastic modulus Along grain MPa ≥10000 Cross grain ≥3500 Density g/cm3 ≥0.75 Moisture % ≤12.0 Bonding strength of single specimen MPa ≥1.70 Immersion de-cohesion - The cumulative length of any unstuck ply on each side does not exceed 1/3 the length of this ply (under 3mm is not counted) 4.6.2 Anti-corrosion agent type and loading shall meet the requirements of "Cargo Containers. Quarantine Aspects and Procedures" (2001) issued by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS). 5 Test Methods 5.1 Determination of Specification and dimension 5.1.1 Measurement of thickness, width and length shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 19367.1-2003. 5.1.2 Measurement of edge straightness shall comply with the requirements of 5.2 and 6.2 in GB/T 19367.2-2003. 5.1.3 Measurement of diagonal line Measure on two diagonal lines of the ply (board), accurate to 1mm. The difference of the two diagonal lines measured is the diagonal length difference of the ply. 5.1.4 Warping measurement shall comply with the requirements of Appendix A in GB/T 9846.2-2004. 5.2 Preparation, Size and Quantity of Specimen 5.2.1 Size and quantity of specimens shall meet the requirements of Table 4. to 0.1%. 5.3.3 Determination of static bending strength and elastic modulus The determination shall comply with the requirements of 4.9 in GB/T 17657-1999; Three specimens whose length direction is parallel (along the grain) or vertical (across to the grain) with outer ply fiber direction are cut respectively from each specimen board. Static bending strengths along and cross the grain of the tested specimen are the arithmetic mean of the static bending strengths of three specimens with same grain direction, accurate to 0.1 MPa. Elastic modulus along and cross the grain of the tested specimen are the arithmetic mean of the elastic modulus of three specimens with same grain direction, accurate to 10 MPa. 5.3.4 Bonding strength determination The determination shall comply with the requirements of 4.15 in 17657-1999; and the processing conditions to the specimen shall meet the requirement of Category I glued wood. 5.3.5 Determination of immersion de-cohesion performance The determination shall comply with the requirements of 4.17 in 17657-1999; and the processing conditions to the specimen shall meet the requirement of Category I glued wood. 6 Inspection Rules 6.1 Inspection Classification Inspection of the products is divided into exit-factory inspection and type inspection. 6.1.1 Exit-factory inspection includes. a) Appearance quality; b) Specification / size; c) Physical mechanical property inspection, including density, moisture content, static bending strength, elastic modulus, bonding strength and immersion de-cohesion. 6.1.2 Type inspection, except all items of exit-factory inspection, is added with anti-corrosion agent loading. 6.2.4 As for determination of physical chemical properties, the specimens shall be sampled randomly from each batch, and the sampled sheet number shall meet the requirements of Table 7. Table 7 Physiochemical Properties Sampling Plan Batch quantity range / sheet Sampled sheet number in primary inspection Sampled sheet number in re-inspection ≤1200 1201~3200 3201~10000 ≥10001 6.3 Judgment Rules 6.3.1 Test Result Judgment 6.3.1.1 If the average values of density, moisture content, static bending strength, and elastic modulus of the specimens for plywood for container flooring MEET the specified values, it is deemed that the glued wood of this batch has acceptable property; otherwise, if a certain item is not acceptable, new specimens may be re-sampled for re-inspection. 6.3.1.2 Judgment of bonding strength of specimens for plywood for container flooring. If the number of the specimens whose bonding strength index value meets the requirement is equal to or larger than 90% of number of effective specimens, it is deemed that this property of the glued wood in this batch is acceptable; if the number is less than 70%, it is deemed that they are disqualified. If the number of the specimens whose bonding strength meets the requirement is equal to or larger than 70% but less than 90%, new specimens may be re-sampled for re-inspection; if the re-inspection results show that the number of the specimens whose this property index value meets the requirement is equal to or larger than 90% of number of effective specimens, then it is deemed that this property of the glued wood in this batch is acceptable; otherwise, it is deemed that they are disqualified. 6.3.1.3 If the number of the specimens ( plywood for container flooring) acceptable in immersion de-cohesion performance is larger than or equal to 5, it is deemed that they are qualified (acceptable); otherwise, new specimens may be re-sampled for re-inspection. 6.3.1.4 If the anti-corrosion agent loading meets the requirement of "Cargo Containers. Quarantine Aspects and Procedures" (2001) issued by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS), it is deemed that they are qualified (acceptable); otherwise, new specimens may be re-sampled for re-inspection. 6.3.2 Overall judgment If appearance quality, specification/ size, physical mechanical property, anti-corrosion agent, and loading of the products all meet the corresponding requirements, they are deemed as acceptable; otherwise, they are deemed as unacceptable. 7 Marking, Packaging, Transportation and Storage 7.1 M... ......
