Foreword
GB/T 18487 “Electric vehicle conductive charging system” consists of the
following three parts.
- Part 1. General requirements;
- Part 2. EMC requirements for off-board electric vehicle supply equipment;
- Part 3. A.C./D.C. Electric vehicle charging station
This part is part 2 of GB/T 18487.
This part was drafted in accordance with the rules given GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 18487.2-2001 “Electric vehicle conductive charging
system - Electric vehicles requirements for conductive connection to an
A.C/D.C. supply”.
Compared with GB/T 18487.2-2001, in addition to editorial changes, the main
technical changes are as follows.
- As a result of an increase of power supply equipment, CHANGE the name
of this part into “Electric vehicle conductive charging system - Part 2. EMC
requirements for off-board electric vehicle supply equipment”;
- ADD the power supply equipment configuration requirements (SEE clause
4);
- ADD the power supply equipment test load conditions (SEE clause 5);
- ADD the operating conditions of the test process (SEE clause 6);
- ADD the immunity requirements (SEE clause 7);
- ADD the emission requirements (SEE clause 8).
This part was proposed by AND shall be under the jurisdiction of China
Electricity Council.

Electric vehicle conductive charging system –
Part 2. EMC requirements for off-board
electric vehicle supply equipment
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 18487 specifies the electromagnetic compatibility
requirements of the electric vehicle power supply equipment for electrical
vehicle off-board conductive charging (hereinafter referred to as the power
supply equipment). The maximum rated voltage of the power supply of the
power supply equipment is 1000 VAC or 1500 VDC, the maximum rated output
voltage is 1000 VAC or 1500 VDC.
This part applies to the power supply equipment of the charging mode 2,
charging mode 3, charging mode 4 as specified in GB/T 18487.1.
This part applies to the electrical vehicle power supply equipment which obtains
energy from the field energy storage system (such as buffer battery, etc.).
In this part, it considers that the power cables without electronic components or
switches (except for manual switch) are passive, which comply with the
emission and immunity requirements, so they do not require test any more.
This part does not apply to any on-board power supply equipment AND the
components and equipment to supply power or charge the electrical vehicle.
This part does not apply to the power supply equipment supplying power or
charging the electrical vehicle through wireless charging (WPT) method.
This part does not apply to trolley buses, railway vehicles, industrial vehicles
and the power supply equipment which is mainly for non-road vehicles.
