This Standard replaces GB/T 14978-1994 "Continual Hot-dip Aluminum Zinc Silicon Alloy Coated Steel Strips and Sheets". Compared with GB/T 14978-1994, this Standard has the main changes as follows. - Standard name was modified; - Dimensional range was expanded; - The provisions for coating adhesiveness were modified; - Surface quality provisions were added; - Post treatment method was added; - The provisions for dimension, appearance and permissible deviation were modified; - Calculation method for theoretical weight was added; - Designation comparison table was added. Detailed provisions are as follows. 4.1.1 Use code a) DX. the first letter D represents flat steels for cold forming; if the second letter is X, it represents that there is no requirement for the rolled condition of base-plate; if the second letter is C, it represents that cold-rolled base-plate is required; if the second letter is D, it represents that hot-rolled base-plate is required; b) S. represents structural steels. 4.1.2 Steel grade character (or serial No.) a) 51~54. two digits, represents steel grade serial No. b) 250~550. three digits, represents steel grade character; here it is the sp... ......
