Starting from Table 2, the correspondence between the tables in this Part and the IEC 60502-4:2010 tables is that Table 2 corresponds to Table 5; Table 3 corresponds Table 6; Table 4 correspond to Table 7; Table 5 corresponds to Table 8; Table 6 corresponds to Table 9; Table 7 corresponds to Table 10; Table 8 corresponds to Table 2; Table 9 corresponds to Table 11; Table 10 corresponds to Table 12, and Table 11 corresponds to Table 3; Table 12 corresponds to Table 4; Table 13 corresponds to Table 13; and Table 14 corresponds to Table 14; --- Add Subclause 7.9. Compared with IEC 60502-4:2010, the major technical differences and their causes between this Part and IEC 60502-2:2010 are as follows: --- Regarding normative references, this Part has been adjusted with technical differences to adapt to China's technical conditions. The adjustments are reflected in Clause 2 "Normative References". The specific adjustments are as follows: ● Add reference to GB/T 2900.10 (see Clause 3); ● Replace IEC 60502-2:2005 with GB/T 12706.2, which is modified to adopt international standards (see Clause 1, Clause 5 and 6.1.1); ● Add reference to GB/T 12706.3 (see Clause 1, 5.1, 5.2 and 6.1.1); ● Replace IEC 61442:2005 with GB/T 18889-2002, which is modified to adopt international standards (see Tables 1 ~ 10 and Table 12); ● Replace IEC 60183 with JB/T 8996, which has a non-equivalent degree of consistency with international standards (see 5.1); ● Delete IEC 61238-1. --- In order to adapt to China's technical requirements, add the 35kV voltage level (see Clause 1); --- In order to adapt to China's technical requirements, add the description and test requirements for internally tapered plug-in type separable connectors (see 3.11 and Clause 8); --- Delete the term "wide range attachment terms" (see Clause 3); Power Cables with Extruded Insulation and Their Accessories for Rated Voltages from 1kV (Um = 1.2kV) up to 35kV (Um = 40.5kV) – Part 4: Test Requirements on Accessories for Cables with Rated Voltages from 6kV (Um = 7.2kV) up to 35kV (Um = 40.5kV) 1 Scope This part of GB/T 12706 specifies the requirements for type test of accessories for extruded insulated power cables with rated voltages from 3.6/6kV (7.2kV) to 26/35kV (40.5kV) and meet the requirements of GB/T 12706.2 or GB/T 12706.3. GB/T 2900.10 Electrotechnical Vocabulary – Electric Cables [GB/T 2900.10-2013, IEC 60050(461):2008, IDT] GB/T 12706.2 Power cables with extruded insulation and their accessories for rated voltages from 1 kV (Um=1.2 kV) up to 35 kV (Um=40.5 kV) - Part 2: Cables for rated voltages from 6 kV (Um =7.2 kV) up to 30 kV (Um =36 kV) (GB/T 12706.2-2020, IEC 60502-2:2014, MOD) GB/T 12706.3 Power cables with extruded insulation and their accessories for rated voltages from 1kV (Um =1.2kV) up to 35kV (Um =40.5kV) - Part 3: Cables for rated voltages of 35kV (Um =40.5kV) GB/T 18889-2002 Electric cables-test methods for accessories for power cables with rated the number of samples in Figure 3. 7.4 Approval is dependent on the cable insulation tested as detailed in Table 11. 7.5 The additional tests specified in Table 10 shall be carried out to achieve extension of approval for different types of cable insulation semiconducting screens. Stop ends shall be tested as in Table 4 using half the number of samples in Figure 3. 7.6 Approval obtained by testing on a non-longitudinally water-blocked type of cable shall be extended to a cable with means of longitudinal water-blocking in the metallic screen area but otherwise of the same design. The converse shall not apply. 7.7 Tests performed on three-core accessories shall be deemed to cover single-core accessories of the same design. The converse shall not apply. 7.8 Compliance of an accessory tested for a specified U0 shall extend to operation of the accessory at a lower U0 provided that the radial electrical stress at the insulation screen of the cable of lower U0 is not greater than that of the test cable. In addition, for separable connectors, the screen fault current initiation test shall be carried out at the lowest U0 for which compliance is required. 7.9 The products covered by this Part are approved based on GB/T 12706.4-2008 and/or after satisfactory operating characteristics verification. This Part does not negate existing approvals, but products approved in accordance with GB/T 12706.4-2008 or specifications cannot obtain approval in this Part unless special tests are conducted on them. If an accessory passes the test, these tests do not need to be repeated unless there are changes in materials, design or manufacturing processes that may affect operating characteristics. 8 Test Sequences Tests applicable to various accessories shall be carried out in accordance with the corresponding program tables and diagrams listed in Table 12. For terminations and joints, if the test procedures and requirements are the same, they can be tested together. The test procedures and requirements for internally tapered plug-in type separable connectors can be carried out according to the provisions of Table 6 (moisture removal test). The test procedures and requirements for screened bolted-type separable connectors can be carried out in accordance with Table 5 (except for plug-in and pull-out tests, operating ring tests, operating force tests and capacitance test point tests). The test procedures and requirements for unscreened bolted-type separable connectors can be carried out in accordance with Table 6 (except plug-in and pull-out test). ......
