Al99.85, Al99.80, Al99.70, Al99.60, Al99.50, Al99.00, Al99.7E, Al99.6E. the purchaser shall put forward to the supplier within two months from the date of receipt of the product; and it shall be solved by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation. When arbitration is required, the sampling for arbitration shall be carried out together at the purchaser’s. The inspection and acceptance of the original aluminium liquid shall be solved by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation. 5.2 Batching 5.2.1 The unalloyed aluminium ingots shall be submitted for inspection in batches. Each batch shall consist of products of same batch number, irrespective of batch weight. 5.2.2 The original aluminium liquid shall be submitted in batches for acceptance, a single aluminium liquid package as a batch. 5.3 Inspection items Each batch of products shall be subject to the inspection of chemical composition. It shall carry out the inspection of appearance quality for unalloyed aluminium ingots. The weight of single piece of unalloyed aluminium ingot shall be guaranteed by the supplier’s process. 5.4 Chemical composition arbitration sampling and sample preparation of unalloyed aluminium ingots 5.4.1 Respectively take one piece of unalloyed aluminium ingot from the upper, middle and lower parts of any buddle of this batch of unalloyed aluminium ingots. When the upper, middle and lower parts cannot be distinguished, it shall extract at least 3 samples at random. 5.4.2 Use ethanol as lubricant. Using a drill bit with diameter of 15 mm ~ 20 mm to drill for sampling. 5.4.3 In the large surface of the aluminium ingot, drill 3 holes along its diagonal, one at the centre, the other two about 100 mm from angles. The depth of each hole shall not be less than 2/3 of the original depth. Before drilling for sample, the surface oxide must be removed first. It thickness is not less than 0.5 mm. 5.4.4 The drilled aluminium chips shall be evenly mixed. After treatment with magnet, it shall use sample quartering.
