1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 10357 specifies the test methods for the stability of chairs with tilting or
reclining mechanisms when fully reclined, and rocking chairs.
This Part is applicable to various types of chairs with tilting or reclining mechanisms when fully
reclined, and rocking chairs.
2 Normative References

3 General Test Conditions
3.1 Units
The units shall be finished products that are intactly assembled and ready for use. All connectors
and fasteners shall be installed in the working condition before the tests.
3.2 Accuracy
Unless otherwise specified, the following measurement accuracy applies:
---loading force: 5% of rated value;
---mass: 1% of rated value;
---dimension: 1 mm;
---angle: 2.
NOTE: the force exerted can be replaced by mass, and the conversion relation is 10 N = 1 kg.
