FZ/T 80007.1-2006 TEXTILE INDUSTRY STANDARD OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA ICS 61.020 Y 75 GB/T 80007.1-2006 Replacing FZ/T 80007.1-1999 Test method of peeled off strength value for garments used adhesive interlining ISSUED ON: MAY 06, 2006 IMPLEMENTED ON: OCTOBER 01, 2006 Issued by: National Development and Reform Commission of PRC Table of Contents Foreword ... 3  1 Scope ... 4  2 Normative references ... 4  3 Principles ... 4  4 Test equipment ... 4  5 Sampling ... 5  6 Preparation of specimen ... 5  7 Operating procedures ... 5  8 Calculation ... 6  9 Test report ... 7  Test method of peeled off strength value for garments used adhesive interlining 1 Scope This standard specifies a test method for the peeling off strength of various types of garments used adhesive interlining. This standard is applicable to the peeling off strength test of all kinds of various types of garments used adhesive interlining. This standard is also applicable to the peeling off strength test of the garment pieces and samples. 2 Normative references The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard through reference in this Standard. For the dated references, the subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this Standard; however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Standard are encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document applies. GB 6529 Standard atmospheres for textiles conditioning and testing GB/T 8170 Rules of rounding off for numerical values & expression and judgement of limiting values 3 Principles The sample is clamped between the two jaws of the tensile testing machine, along the clamping line. As the two jaws of the tensile testing machine are gradually pulled apart, the bonding points in the weft or warp direction of the specimen begin to be stressed one after another, AND peeled off under the transmitted stress along the peeling off line, until the specimen is peeled off. 4 Test equipment 4.1 The constant velocity elongation type tensile testing machine or the constant velocity traction type tensile testing machine shall be used, which has an accuracy of ±1.0%. 4.2 Clamps: The center point of the two clamps of the tensile testing machine shall be on the same vertical line, the jaw opening line of the clamps shall be perpendicular to the vertical line; the clamping line and the specimen shall be on the same plane. The clamps shall be capable of holding the specimen, so that it cannot slide AND the specimen shall not be visibly damaged. The clamping width of the clamp shall not be less than 30 mm; the clamping surface shall be flat and smooth. 5 Sampling 5.1 The sampling of finished products is at least 1 piece. 5.2 The warp and weft directions of the specimens are determined, by the warp and weft directions of the fabric, which are not limited by the interlining. 5.3 Randomly take samples from the part of the garment, which is covered with adhesive interlining. For the parts using different adhesive interlinings, take three pieces each in the warp and weft directions, each has a size of 150 mm x 25 mm. 5.4 The collar and cuffs can be sampled, according to the requirements of both parties to the contract. 6 Preparation of specimen 6.1 The specimen shall be subjected to humidity conditioning, according to the provisions of GB 6529. 6.2 If it is a data comparison test, it can be placed in the same environment for 4 hours. 6.3 Manually separate the two layers of fabric at one end of the specimen; each peeling off point shall be on the same straight line. 7 Operating procedures 7.1 Adjust the distance, between the upper and lower clamps of the tensile testing machine, to 50 mm; adjust the traction speed to be (100 ± 5) mm/min. 7.2 Preliminary test: Select the appropriate strength range, through a small quantity of preliminary tests. For products with empirical data, the forecasting procedure can be exempted. 7.3 Formal test: Clamp the fabric end and the adhesive interlining end, of one end of the prepared specimen, into the upper and lower clamps of the tensile machine, respectively. Make the peeling off line located at half of the two clamps, meanwhile the longitudinal axis of specimen is at right angles to the closed clamping surface. Turn on ......
