1 Scope of application
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical contents and inspection methods of the toner cartridge environmental labeling products.
This standard applies to drums used in electronic imaging printing equipment, newly manufactured by new parts, or new parts and reusable parts.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Toner cartridge
Used in electronic imaging printers, copiers, fax machines, and all-in-ones, from toner cartridges filled with toner or added

5.4 Hazardous substance discharge requirements
The hazardous substances emitted by the product during its working condition shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.

Note. The model used for the test should be consistent with the applicable model marked on the product.
5.5 Recycling and disposal
5.5.1 The enterprise shall establish a product recycling system for recycling the products it produces and clearly inform the user of the recycling route.
5.5.2 The enterprise shall establish treatment and disposal measures for the recovered products to ensure that the recycled products are reused or recycled to the utmost extent.
5.6 Packaging materials
5.6.1 The total amount of lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) and hexavalent chromium (Cr6) shall not exceed 100 mg/kg.
5.6.2 CFCs and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) should not be used as blowing agents.
5.6.3 The marking on the plastic packaging material shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 16288.
5.7 Production process requirements
CFCs, carbon tetrachloride (CCl4), 1,1,1-trichloroethane (C2H3Cl3) and hydrogen should not be used in the production process.
CFCs (HCFCs) act as detergents.
5.8 Public Information Requirements
The following information should be included in the product description.
(1) the name of the product;
(2) company name (or company product brand name);
(3) Contact information;
(4) Information related to product recycling;
(5) Product use methods, recommendations for disposal of products and residual toner therein;

6 Test methods
6.1 The technical content of 5.5 is tested according to the method specified in HJ/T 424-2008. For color products, the test results are lower than the monochrome production.
The indicator of the product can no longer be tested in monochrome.
6.2 Other requirements in the technical content shall be verified by means of document review combined with on-site inspection, and relevant certification materials shall be issued by the enterprise.

4 basic requirements
4.1 Product quality should meet the requirements of the corresponding product quality standards.
4.2 Pollutant emissions from product manufacturing enterprises shall comply with the requirements of national or local pollutant discharge standards.
4.3 Product manufacturers should strengthen clean production in the production process.
5 Technical content
5.1 Product Environmental Design Requirements
5.1.1 The components, structures and functions used in the design of the product shall not impede the reuse of the product.
5.1.2 The mechanical connection of the materials (components) of the product should be easy to disassemble and there should be no non-detachable connection.
5.1.3 The outer casing of the product shall not be coated or composite structural material.
5.1.4 Between the replaceable and fixed parts of the product, there should be sufficient space for the insertion tool.
5.1.5 The recyclability of the product should be above 95% (mass fraction and the quality of the toner should be removed).
5.1.6 Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) or chlorinated alkanes (specifically referred to as chain carbons in the range of 10 to 13) shall not be used in the product.
