3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 4365-2003 apply to this document. 3.1 Electromagneticenvironment The sum of all electromagnetic phenomena existing in a certain place. Note. Personnel, systems and their carrying platforms may encounter radiation, conduction or induction in the expected use environment when performing specified missions and tasks. The distribution of intensity (voltage, current, field strength, power density, etc.) and time of electromagnetic energy in different frequency ranges. 3.2 Electromagneticenvironmentlevel In the specified test location and test time, the existing radiated and conducted signal and noise levels. Note. The environmental level is formed by man-made and natural electromagnetic energy. 3.3 Electromagnetic interference Any conduction or radiation that may interrupt, hinder, or even reduce or limit the performance of radio communications or other electrical and electronic systems and equipment Electromagnetic energy.
