This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 11701-1989 "Basic Regulations for Marine Gangways". 1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification, structural dimensions, technical requirements, test and inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine gangways.
