1 Scope

This Standard specifies the technical requirements and testing methods for the physical layer of air interface, function, performance, electromagnetic compatibility, electrical security, password implementation, electromagnetic radiation, environmental liability, etc. in the wireless LAN for mobile terminals. This Standard is applicable to the mobile terminals with the wireless LAN function.

The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard through reference in this Standard. For dated references, the subsequent amendments (excluding corrigendum) or revisions do not apply to this Standard, however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Standard are encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions and those ones stipulated in GB 15629.11 are applicable to this Standard. 3.1 Service Set Identifier (SSID) It is the identification of ESS; all STA and AP shall have the same SSID within the same ESS; SSID is a character string of 0~32 octet. 3.2 Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) A local area network that transmits and receives data via radio, infrared light signal or other technologies; requires no physical connections between the nodes and the hub (e.g.. adopt cables or coaxial cables, etc.).

5 Technical Requirements

5.1 Requirements for physical layer of air interface 5.1.1 2.4GHz frequency band 5.1.1.5 Requirements for wireless index 5.1.1.5.1 Emission power The equivalent isotropic radiated power shall meet. 5.1.1.5.6 Transmitter symbol clock frequency tolerance For OFDM and DSSS-OFDM modes stipulated in GB 15629.1104-2006, the transmitter symbol clock frequency tolerance shall be less than ±25×10-6. 5.1.1.5.9 Transmitter modulation accuracy 5.1.2 5.8GHz frequency band 5.1.2.1 Basic requirements The physical layer of air interface on the 5.8GHz frequency band of wireless LAN for mobile terminals shall conform to the provisions of GB 15629.1101-2006. 5.1.2.2 Working frequency range The working frequency range on the 5.8GHz frequency band of wireless LAN for mobile terminals shall be 5725MHz~5850MHz. 5.1.2.5 Requirements for wireless index 5.1.2.5.1 Emission power The emission power is no greater than 500mW or no greater than 27dBm; EIRP is no greater than 2W or no greater than 33dBm. 5.1.2.5.2 Total Radiated Power (TRP) TPR shall conform to the provisions of YD/T 1484. 5.4 Electromagnetic compatibility requirements The electromagnetic compatibility of wireless LAN for mobile terminals shall meet the requirements of YD/T 1312.2-2004. 5.5 Electrical safety requirements The electrical safety of wireless LAN for mobile terminals shall meet the requirements of GB 4943. 5.6 Password implementation requirements The password implementation of wireless LAN for mobile terminals adopting the WAPI security mechanism shall meet the requirements of Announcement (No.7) of State Cryptography Administration. 5.7 Electromagnetic radiation requirements The electromagnetic radiation performance of wireless LAN for mobile terminal shall meet the requirements of YD/T 1644.1-2007. 5.8 Environmental reliability requirements The environmental reliability of wireless LAN for mobile terminals shall meet the requirements of YD/T 1539-2006.

6 Testing Methods

1 Scope
