This Document was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for
Standardization – Part 1.Rules for the Structure and Drafting of Standardizing Documents.
This Document replaced QC/T 355-1999 Automobile Wheel Nut - Cone Nut. Compared with
QC/T 355-1999, the major technical changes of this Document are as follows.
--- Raise the tolerance grade of the product from B to A (see Table 2 of this Edition);
--- Cancel the specification of M10 × l.25 product (see Table 1 of this Edition);
--- Add the specification of M20 × 1.5 product (see Table 1 of this Edition);
--- Modify the structure and size of the product (see Figure 1, Table 1 of this Edition);
--- Modify the category of surface treatment (see Table 2 of this Edition);
--- Cancel the left-hand thread and its rotation direction mark of the product.

1 Scope
This Document specifies the type, size, technical conditions and number of wheel nuts with
conical seat for automotive with thread specifications of M12 × 1.5 to M20 × 1.5 and
mechanical property grades 8 and 10.
