Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces NY/T 798-2004 "Compound microbial fertilizers". Compared with NY/T 798-2004, except for editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows. - MODIFY the requirements for quality score of total nutrients; - MODIFY the requirements for pH range; - MODIFY the requirements for limit index of arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), chromium (Cr), mercury (Hg), in products; - MODIFY the judgment rules; - ADD the requirements for the limit value of each single nutrient, in the total nutrient; - ADD the technical index requirements for organic matter; - DELETE the technical index requirements for fineness; - STANDARDIZE the references such as product testing methods. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation, storage of compound microbial fertilizers. This standard applies to compound microbial fertilizers.

2 Normative references

The following documents are essential to the application of this document. 3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions as defined in NY/T 1113, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document. 3.1 Compound microbial fertilizers The live microbial products that are compounded by specific microorganisms and nutrients; can provide, maintain or improve plant nutrition; increase the yield of agricultural products OR improve the quality of agricultural products.

4 Requirements

4.1 Bacterial species The microbial species used shall be safe and effective. The producer shall provide a classification and identification report of the bacterial species, including complete information such as the scientific name of the genus and species, morphology, physiological and biochemical characteristics, 4.2 Appearance (sensory) Homogeneous liquid or solid. Suspended liquid products shall not have a large amount of precipitation; the precipitation shall be evenly dispersed after gentle shaking. Powder products shall be loose. Granular products shall be free of obvious mechanical impurities AND uniform in size. 4.3 Technical index The technical index of the compound microbial fertilizer shall meet the requirements of Table 1.Product dosage forms are divided into liquid and solid. The solid dosage forms include powder and granular forms.

5 Test method

5.1 General requirements The preparation of reagents, water and solutions, which are used in this standard, shall be carried out in accordance with HG/T 2843, unless otherwise the specification and preparation method are indicated. The digital rounding of product technical indicators and the qualification of product quality, in this standard, shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 8170. 5.6 Determination of organic matters It is performed according to the requirements of NY 525. 5.7 Determination of the count of fecal coliform bacteria It is performed according to the requirements of GB/T 19524.1.For the retrieval table for the determination process and the most probable number (MPN) of fecal coliform count, please refer to Appendix D of NY/T 2321. 5.8 Determination of the death rate of ascarid eggs It is performed according to the requirements of GB/T 19524.2. 5.9 Determination of Arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), chromium (Cr) mercury (Hg) It is performed according to the requirements of NY/T 1978.

6 Inspection rules

6.1 Inspection classification 6.1.1 Exit-factory inspection When the product is exit-factory, it shall be inspected by the quality inspection department of the manufacturer, according to Table 1.The expiration date is not inspected, during the exit-factory inspection. 6.2 Sampling 6.2.1 General Treat the products, which are processed from each fermenter's bacteria liquid (or each batch of solid fermentation), as a batch, to carry out the sampling inspection, during which it shall strictly avoid contamination from miscellaneous bacteria. 6.2.2 Sampling tools Sterile plastic bags (bottles), metal spoons, samplers, measuring cylinders, kraft paper bags, glue, sampling seals, sampling sheets, etc. 6.3 Judgment rules Products, that meet the requirements of technical index and harmlessness index, are qualified products.

7 Packaging, labeling, transportation, storage

7.1 Packaging Choose appropriate packaging materials, containers, forms, methods, according to different product dosage forms, to meet the basic requirements of product packaging. The product packaging shall contain the product qualification and instructions for use. In the instruction for use, it shall indicate the scope of use, methods, dosage, precautions. 7.2 Markings The content, which are marked on the label, shall comply with the provisions of national laws and regulations. 7.2.3 Implemented standard of product It shall indicate the standard number implemented by the product. 7.2.4 Registration certificate number of product It shall indicate the valid registration certificate number of product. 7.2.5 Name and address of manufacturer It shall indicate the name, address, postal code, contact number of the manufacturer, who has been registered in accordance with the law AND can bear the responsibility for product quality. 7.2.6 Date of production or production batch number It shall indicate the production date or production batch number of the product, on the production certificate or product packaging. 7.2.7 Shelf life Use "shelf life _____ months (or years)" for presentation. 7.3 Transportation There shall be covers, during transportation, to prevent exposure to rain, sun, high temperature. Take appropriate measures, when the temperature is below 0 °C, to ensure product quality.
