1 Scope

This Standard specifies the general requirements, functional requirements, performance requirements, installation requirements and test methods of vehicle video terminal of GNSS system for operating vehicles. This Standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, inspection and installation of main engine, camera and other external equipment of vehicle video terminal of GNSS system for operating vehicles.

3 Terms, Definitions and Abbreviations

3.1 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 3.1.1 Vehicle video terminal Vehicle video terminal refers to a vehicle-mounted terminal, which is installed on a vehicle to be in charge of the collection of audio and video information of vehicle environment; it is also equipped with the function of satellite positioning. 3.1.4 Particular alarm Particular alarm refers to specific alarm that would affect vehicle safety, such as emergency alarm and collision rollover alarm, etc. 3.2 Abbreviations The following abbreviations are applicable to this document.

4 General Requirements

4.1 Basic Requirements The appearance, nameplate, characters, graphs, symbols, texture and case protection of the terminal shall comply with the stipulation in 4.2 ~ 4.6 in JT/T 794-2011. 4.2 Terminal Composition 4.2.1 Main engine Main engine shall comply with the stipulation in 4.1.1 in JT/T 794-2011; it shall also include the following modules or interfaces. 4.2.2 External equipment External equipment shall comply with the stipulation in 4.1.2 in JT/T 794-2011; it shall also include the following devices.

5 Functional Requirements

5.1 Basic Requirements 5.1.1 The functions of the terminal shall satisfy stipulations in Chapter 5, other than 5.4.8 and 5.4.9 in JT/T 794-2011; specifically speaking, the mode of communication should also support TD-LTE or FDD-LTE, etc. 5.2 Requirements of Audio and Video Recording 5.2.1 Audio and video signal compression mode The adopted audio and video signal compression mode shall be clearly indicated in product’s technical documents. The mode of audio and video digital signal compression shall satisfy the following requirements. 5.2.3 Requirements of recorded image quality Image resolution (pixel) shall at least be 704 x 576 (D1). One route shall adopt 1,280 x 720 (720P) or above; horizontal resolution shall be more than or equals to 400 TVL. 5.2.4 Requirements of playback image quality 5.2.5 Requirements of total resources of video recording Under the circumstance when all cameras and one route pickup that the equipment practically supports are initiated for recording, the vehicle-mounted terminal shall have the capability of at least 150 h of video recording. In addition, the image playback shall comply with the stipulation in 5.2.4.1 and 5.2.4.2. 5.2.7 Requirements of video-recording mode The terminal shall adopt the boot video-recording mode; after the vehicle stops and reaches the delay time, the video-recording shall automatically stop. The delay time shall be settable. When the terminal is in the state of dormancy, it shall be able to report the position merely in accordance with the set parameters and without initiating the video-recording function. However, it shall support three video-recording triggering modes, namely, particular alarm trigger, timing trigger and manual trigger. 5.3 Requirements of Local Search, Playback and Data Backup 5.3.1 Search The terminal shall have the function of searching audio and video information in accordance with date, channel number and alarm type, etc. 5.5 Requirements of data security 5.5.1 Data coverage It shall support the function of automatic video coverage. When the storage device reaches its maximum capacity, the oldest video data shall be automatically covered. When users are reminded to deal with video data with the marking of particular alarm, and such data is not deleted, the data shall be covered if necessary. 5.6 Requirements of network function 5.6.1 Basic requirements The system shall satisfy all the functional requirements regarding surveillance center in JT/T 794-2011. 5.6.2 Video surveillance The system shall support at least the simultaneous uploading of real-time video images of any two channels. Under the condition of 200 kbps of bandwidth, when the transmission resolution of an individual channel’s video images is CIF images, frame rate shall be more than or equals to 8 frame/second; average delay shall be less than or equals to 3 s. 5.6.3 Search, preview and retrieval of historical video 5.6.3.1 Search The system shall support the surveillance center to search video data in the main storage device and the disaster backup storage device in accordance with certain conditions, such as date, channel number and alarm type, etc. 5.7 Requirements of image analysis 5.7.1 Passenger counting function Passenger counting device shall implement the following functions. 5.7.2 Driving behavioral analysis function Driver’s driving behavioral analysis device shall implement the following functions. 5.8 Functional Requirement of Reading SIM Card Number The terminal shall support the functions of reading, recording and reporting ICCID of SIM card that the equipment uses. 5.9 Functional Requirement of TCP Link Timeout Value Setting The terminal shall support the function of time setting for automatic cut-off of the link when there is no data transmission through the TCP link. 5.10 Technical Requirements of Camera 5.10.1 Electrical performance Analog camera video output signal (CVBS output) shall satisfy the following requirements.

6 Performance Requirements

6.1 Requirements of Electrical Performance The terminal system’s electrical performance shall satisfy the stipulation in 6.4 in JT/T 794-2011. 6.2 Requirements of Environmental Adaptability The terminal system’s environmental adaptability shall comply with the stipulation in 6.5 in JT/T 794-2011.

7 Installation Requirements

The terminal’s installation requirements shall comply with the stipulation in Chapter 7 in JT/T 794-2011.

8 Test Methods

8.1 Test Conditions 8.1.1 Environmental conditions have the following requirements. 8.1.2 Requirement of working condition. under full-load status. 8.1.3 Inspect the interface of the terminal’s main engine and the composition of the terminal; disassemble the outer shell of the main engine for inspection; it shall comply with the stipulation in 4.2. 8.2 Functional Test 8.2.1 Video and sound recording test 8.2.1.4 Information recording mode The test method for audio and video information recording mode is as follows. 8.2.1.5 Video recording mode The test method for video recording mode is as follows. 8.2.2 Local search, playback and data backup test 8.2.2.1 Local search and playback In accordance with date, channel number and video type, search video data; when a video is played back, conduct the following operations. play, pause, stop, fast forward, key frame fast rewind, slow forward and frame forward, etc. The test result shall comply with the stipulation in 5.3.2. 8.2.3 Alarm test 8.2.3.1 Video alarm When the equipment is normally functioning, conduct the test in accordance with the following steps. 8.2.3.2 Alarm linkage When the equipment is normally functioning, conduct the test in accordance with the following steps. 8.2.4 Data security test Conduct the following test when the equipment is normally functioning. a) Simulate “main power’s severe transient low-voltage interference”, namely, when the equipment is normally functioning, adjust the voltage of the main power to a value lower than the rated minimum operating voltage, duration. 500 ms; then, restore to the normal operating voltage; cycle for 3 times. During this test, the equipment shall normally record; b) Simulate “main power’s abnormal blackout”, namely, when the equipment is normally functioning, cut off the main power; after 10 min, restore power supply and initiate the equipment; inspect 100 ms of data right before the blackout, all data shall not be lost. 8.2.5 Network function test 8.2.5.1 Requirement of network bandwidth for the test Under the test environment, wireless communication network bandwidth shall be at least 200 kbps. 8.2.5.2 Real-time video surveillance 8.5 Electromagnetic Compatibility Test In accordance with the requirement in 6.6 and 6.7 in JT/T 794-2011, conduct electrostatic discharge immunity test, transient immunity test and anti-electrical ignition interference test.
