1 Scope
This document specifies the product quality grade and technical requirements, test methods,
inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage of coal for medium and low temperature
pyrolysis.
This document is applicable to the coal for medium and low temperature pyrolysis in various
links. production, processing, storage and transportation, sales and application, etc.
2 Normative References

5.3 Total Sulfur
The determination of total sulfur of the coal shall be performed in accordance with GB/T 214
or GB/T 25214.The arbitration shall be performed in accordance with the Eschka method in
GB/T 214.
5.4 Phosphorus Content
The determination of phosphorus content in the coal shall be performed in accordance with
GB/T 216.
5.5 Chloride Content
The determination of chloride content in the coal shall be performed in accordance with GB/T
3558.
5.6 Arsenic Content
The determination of arsenic content in the coal shall be performed in accordance with GB/T
3058.
5.7 Mercury Content
The determination of mercury content in the coal shall be performed in accordance with GB/T
16659 or SN/T 3511.
6 Inspection Rules
6.1 Batch
The products shall be inspected by batches.
6.2 Sample Collection and Preparation
Samples shall be collected in accordance with the stipulations of GB/T 475 or GB/T 19494.1
and prepared in accordance with the stipulations of GB/T 474 or GB/T 19494.2.
6.3 Exit-factory Inspection
Manufacturers and distributors shall carry out exit-factory inspection in accordance with the
inspection items required in Table 4.
7.1.1 The produced and sold commercial coal for medium and low temperature pyrolysis shall
be marked in accordance with the stipulations of GB/T 25209.
7.1.2 The accompanying documents that identify the circulation of the commercial coal for
medium and low temperature pyrolysis shall include, but not be limited to the following
contents.
---product name;
---quantity;
---place of origin;
---nominal maximum particle size and appearance description;
---main coal quality indexes, which shall include, but are not limited to the indexes
specified in Chapter 4;
---others. name and address, date of production, batch No. and file No. of the manufacturer
or distributor.
7.1.3 The markings shall be made of water-proof, anti-corrosion and non-breakable materials.
7.2 Transportation and Storage
The transportation and storage of the coal for medium and low temperature pyrolysis shall be
dust-proof, rain-proof, moisture-proof and kept away from fire sources.
