This Part is Part 51 of GB/T 25000.
This Part is drafted in accordance with the rules given GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Part replaces GB/T 25000.51-2010 “Software engineering - Software
product Quality Requirements and Evaluation (SQuaRE) - Requirements for
quality of Commercial Off-The-Self (COTS) software product and instructions
for testing”. Compared with GB/T 25000.51-2010, the main technical changes
are as follows.
a) GB/T 25000.51-2010 is identical to ISO/IEC 25051.2006, and this Part
modifies ISO/IEC 25051.2014.
b) ADJUST and SUPPLEMENT the terms and definitions.
c) In this Part, ADD the description of relevant product quality characteristics
of “security” and “compatibility”, ADJUST the quality characteristics to five
major characteristics, i.e. “effectiveness”, “efficiency”,
“satisfaction“, ”freedom from risk” and “context coverage”, and MODIFY,
ADJUST and SUPPLEMENT the relevant sub-characteristics (for more
details, see 5.1.2.1, 5.1.4, 5.1.6.2, 5.1.6.3, 5.1.8.4, 5.1.10, 5.1.15, 5.1.16,
5.1.17, 5.2.13.1, 5.2.15.1, 5.2.16.1, 5.2.17, 5.2.18.1, 5.2.19.1, 5.3.3,
5.3.4.1, 5.3.5.5, 5.3.6.1, 5.3.7.1, 5.3.9, 5.3.10, 5.3.11, 5.3.12, 5.3.13, 6.2.4,
6.2.5, 6.2.6, 6.2.7).
d) ADJUST the annex.
This Part uses redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO/IEC 25051.2014
“Software engineering - Systems and software Quality Requirements and
Evaluation (SQuaRE) - Requirements for quality of Ready to Use Software
Product (RUSP) and instructions for testing” (English version). The main
technical differences between this Part and ISO/IEC 25051.2014 and their
causes are as follows.
a) In normative references, delete ISO/IEC 25000 that is normatively
referenced in the original international standard, because it is not
mentioned in the text; replace ISO/IEC 25010 by the national standard
GB/T 25000.10-2016 that is referenced with date, because the quality
model must be referenced with date.
b) Since GB/T 25000.10-2016 modifies and adopts ISO/IEC 25010.2011, the
description of the relevant characteristics of 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 are modified
accordingly, mainly for compliance issues.
c) 5.1.4.1 in the International Standard is corrected from “All functions
mentioned in the product description shall be classified according to the
quality requirements for software characteristics (5.3.2 to 5.3.9)” as “All
functions mentioned in the product description should be classified
according to the description of software product quality characteristics
(5.1.5 to 5.1.12)” [Translator note. there is no 5.1.4.1 in this standard; 5.1.4
is existed in this standard].

1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 25000 establishes.
2 Conformance
RUSP conforms to this Part if.
3 Normative references
The following documents, in whole or in part, are normatively referenced in this
document and are indispensable for its application. For dated references, only
the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the
referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
4 Terms, definitions and abbreviated terms
Any condition that deviates from expectations based on requirements
specifications, design documents, standards, etc. or from someone’s
perceptions or experiences.
Systematic examination of the extent to which a product, process or service
fulfils specified requirements.
5 Requirements for RUSP
The product description shall contain, as applicable, statements on security,
taking into account confidentiality, Integrity, non-repudiation, accountability and
authenticity, written such that verifiable evidence of compliance can be
demonstrated, based on GB/T 25000.10-2016.
6 Requirements for test documentation
The test plan shall specify the communication model and methods used to
share the test documentation and the test items to the stakeholders.
The assessment of the execution report and anomaly report shall demonstrate
that all expected behaviours were obtained, within the limits of the criteria used
to decide if the test results show the conformity of the software.
7 Instructions for conformity evaluation
A conformity evaluation is carried out to determine the conformity of the
software to the requirements in subclause 5.3 by producing test documentation
conforming to the requirements in Clause 6, but without the part related to
anomalies corrections and to verification by re-testing (subclauses 6.4.2.3 to
6.4.2.6).
